hi folks

i am currently working for an mnc company but under a different pay master. recently went for different job interview and got the job. i am non employee (1 year contract) and according to my offer letter i cannot resign within a year. i've worked around 9 months and gave a 1 month notice period. which last month.however even after i served the notice period they still hold my salary.

the paymaster told me to refer back to offer letter and when i checked back it stated i have to serve 1 month notice and pay one month salary. is it standard practice? please help

folks

i've forsake my wired keyboard for about six months and yesterday when tried plug in to my MBP, the spacebar is not working. what i did is remove the key caps like i used to do on my MBP, cleaning it out (dust) and put it back. it works. but i gotta press hard and it annoys the heck out me

my warranty are over and is there anyway for me to rectify the problem. dammit. not willing to spend 100 over buck for brand new apple keyboard.

I need to buy a new adaptor as my mine kaput last week.been to apple retailer and they quote for 279 for 60 watts charger

may i know if the magsafe 2 60 watts for mbp retina can be used on my mbp( 13 inch late 2011) ?

Any alternative power adaptor out there beside the official one? Appreciate the feedback as i got to make fast decision.been living without my mbp for bout one week.please advise and sorry opening up a thread/typo as i on9 from ip5

my adaptor is not working. the last time i used (last night) it work and the indicator turn to green before i plug it off. today back in the office it is not working anymore. any idea how to troubleshoot? i took out the fuse and the lowest fuse i could get in my area is 5 A. can i use the 5A?

worse case scenario how much for the adaptor?

one of my family members are using toshiba c640 free dos( AMD/ATI Graphic). after reformat i can't install back the wireless lan driver. i tried to download from toshiba website and it crashes half way. i tried googling around looking for third party driver site and i couldn't find it. please help. win 7 HP 32 bit

i just help a friend of mine who bought HP care pack and having a problem sending it to via fax.whenever we try to send fax nobody picking it up. we'been trying for past 3 day and not succeed. i try to call hp centre today and can't get through.

i've been told that the care pack should be send not more than 10 days after purchase.

i made a stupid mistake by formating my hard drive in one of my computer. then i realize i got important document on that partition.

i've formatted my drive before accidentaly and somehow manage to recover back my deleted partition files back when i was using vista few years ago and i forgot the utilities name. shit!!

is there any software i can use to get back my files? many thanks

Restoring 21 Years old Toyota EE90

hey folks

my dad has a old toyota which has been in the family for 16-17 years. it is a toyota EE90 1.3cc (not se). the car is in running condition although it need major repair and service. the engine begin to consume engine oil there is white smoke comin out of the exhaust. the dashboard were full with crack and the seat are hard as you sat on top of rock. need a paint job as well

i decided to repair and to bring back the car back at it best. so i am gonna need an advise and rough cost estimation. here goes the question

what engine should i change? i am not adrenaline junkie and i dont need turbo or supercharged engine.reliability is the primary concern though. what i had in mind are engines from AE 101 20 valve silver tops

how much the rough cost from half cuts and workmanship? besides engines what else do i need? rear disk brake? suspension?

i am lil bit tight on budget ( which is around 5-6K) appreciate the inputs though. thanks
