Android for M001 device

I just bought a M001 from evern last night. It was damn slow and the G sensor doesn't look like working at all. So i cook another ROM using the same kernel 2.6.29 and update the following module/driver:

Now the device work perfectly. I also manage to get Android Market running on the device (M001)

Need some experience/problem from the device owner before I release my cooked ROM

Beta Tester Needed For Xanara Rescue CD - Beta 1

Xanara is a Recovery Live CD based on Ubuntu Linux 7.10. It is a live Linux distribution that aims specifically at recovery and repair operations on Windows machines but is equally usable for Linux recovery issues after a crash. It provides an easy way to carry out administration tasks on the computer such as creating and editing the partitions of the hard disk. It contains a lot of system utilities. By just booting the CDROM, the users can straight away perform the recovery process without any installations. The kernel supports most of the important file systems even the latest and rarely used like NTFS, JFS and ext4.

Xanara can perform normal rescue operations like other rescue Linux distributions but it is equipped with 3 brand new applications which are Backup on LAN, Real Server Backup and MySQL Backup.

Xanara now is in BETA version and I'm looking forward to have a beta test on it. So I release it at my project page and I hope you guys gonna try it and feel free to give comments and report bugs found on it.

Dear all P3600i user,

I'm currently try to hack the SPL 3.03.0000 or what ever thing that protect my P3600i from being flashed.

I'm tired of using radio rom 1.46.00.11 so i'm planning to upgrade to newer version of it.

I've tried 1.50.08.11 and i've found it's performence is better then the default P3600i radio rom which is 1.46.00.11. Really want to share it but the steps were hard to explain.

So i'm planning to release a cook ROM for P3600i that can be easily update by using RUU (rom update utility). But before i do that, i would like to know what is your current version of ROM and Radio ROM.

You can check your current version by selecting :-

Start > Settings > System > Device Information

for example:-

ROM version: 3.00.707.16
Radio version: 1.46.00.11

Proactive security update fixes bug prior to any known exploits

March 23, 2005, (Mountain View, CA). The Mozilla Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving choice and promoting innovation on the Internet, today announced a security update for its Firefox Web browser. The update is a proactive security release to patch a bug identified by Internet Security Systems, a premier security research, products, and services company. No known exploits of the bug have been reported prior to the update's release.

"The Mozilla Foundation is deeply committed to providing its users with the safest Internet experience possible," said Chris Hofmann, director of engineering for the Mozilla Foundation. "To deliver our users the experience they deserve, we must stay ahead of the curve in patching potential vulnerabilities. For example, the bug patched in this update has no known real world exploits, and we were able to provide a quick response."
