Our goverment is trying to fix haze problems. Malaysian goverment may start cloud seeding. But when ?
The other approach is expecting rain naturally. But when ?

The question is, how to speed the processing time ? what we can do is through visualization.

C++ 2 exe communicate with DLL, not flatfile

Dear Gurus,

I am okay with visual basic, but currently learning C++ with VS 2010.

i am able to create 2 console exe using native C++ (sometimes i use CLR depends on the sample i got from internet), I using cin and cout to display data. It is sufficient.

Now the problem, i have sender1.exe and receiver1.exe, and both sender and receiver can call dll easily, but that dll looks like on different memory space. they cannot communicate.

try google "executable change data" sure no result :-(

but before i tried too much, i just need to know whether my direction is right or wrong. perhaps now people using something else ?

In the production environment, sender1.exe is a commercial program that support C++ API using DLL. It's not something that i created myself.
The dll and receiver1 is my coding.

so i started my own.

I have 10 years old LAN cable, which i bought to support 100Base-TX long looooooongggg time ago. It's very long, almost 100M.

After buying another PC, i want to cut this long old 10 years cable into smaller cables.

I already buy 3 items:
1. network cable test (similar to below)

well similar is actually "from laymen eyes only". After buying 3 of them above, then i realize there is 100mhz and 350mhz CAT5 cables and i completely blur about this.

Up to my dismay, my old 10 years LAN cable cannot deliver speed above 100MB. Do i have to buy another cable ? Cat5E (or CAt5e lowercase "e") or cat6 ? kindly advised.

I hope just to rearrange the wire i can have 1GB cable from my old 10 years LAN cable. kindly advise and many thanks.

I looked at DD-WRT and openWRT but look difficult even for a seasoned programmer like me.

2,5 month deposit to rent apartment

Dear All,

I am a foreigner and don't have experience renting property in malaysia.

Now I am renting a unit in one of the property in sunway, selangor. Unfortuantely, i ended up with property agent that delay so many payments, including cukai pintu (30 months), IWK (24 months), and recently apartment monthly / maintenance fees. Those payments are his responsibilities, not mine.

The agents insist that i did not pay to authority myself, but the agent will manage payment and negotiate with authorithy by himself.

In short, all settled. But the image about his credibility vanished.

I don't trust him he has cash to pay my deposit back later.

Now the problem, my rental is about to expire, and i will find another property to stay. How about my 2.5 months deposit ? what if he cannot refund when i go out, or said he will refund next time ?

Hi,

I am a programmer with passion to do virtualization. got enough budget to lurk into xeon motherboard and xeon itself.

I always go to lowyat in bukit bintang to shop around and i know those big seller are either jayacom, thundermatch or viewnet.

But up to my supprise, they are not really familiar with xeon motherboard. They are sure familiar with i3, i5, i7 desktop / gaming, which i currently do not need.

I don't want to buy build in like Dell, or HP, but i want to build custom one, like i build my desktop myself, right from cooler master full ATX casing up to windows + office + additional softwares i fully configures myself.

So the questions, where i can shop those hardware items ?

I have a windows 7 "standard PC" with 4GB ram and hard disk 500 GB. Now its full aredi. Mother board is Asus last year bought. so pretty decent and new i think.

I notice in lelong there is a thing called Hard disk enclosure that support RAID, so i plan to buy 4x 1TB hard drive, make them RAID 0.

What's the ideal way to watch internet TV

Hi All,

I need to watch indonesian channel listed here: http://mivo.tv/home.php

When i run using my laptop "a.k.a just normal laptop with windows 7" it display correctly.

I even can display laptop content / laptop screen into 47" LED TV using VGA to HDMI converter.

Now the fact and the question:

I put may laptop in living room to watch indonesian channel ? wow so ugly. I can see my screen laptop under my 47" LED TV and definitely looks ugly.

What should i do ? to purchase a PC / desktop with windows 7 ? i think it's "too big" and almost as big as my subwoofer.

should i buy android TV such as Modeo, AFV, Mele: Sometimes there are chinese menu here and there and i cant' read chinese. Some people in this forum complain about these android TV are not as "agile and strong" as they expected.

I am not asking streaming from chinese drama / hongkong movie as i can't read chinese nor speak chinese.

i heard there is a thing called airplay ? but it's a property of apple. my 47" LED TV is not from apple, it's just an old 47" LED TV.

some advised to use media player then i told them i do not need to play movies from network. I need to able to use browser and see what's in my laptop into LED TV

There is AV wireless to wireless but astro / any cable TV cannot access indonesian TV channel like mivo.tv above.

Some say can use a dish to access indonesian channel hmm... dunno not know... any advice ? some say malaysian law prohibits using dish bigger than astro ? i live in kl / selangor so definitely i know in sabah / sarawak they can use parabola / dish.
