Philips 236G3DH 3D monitor question

Hi,

I got Philips 236G3DH 3D monitor yesterday. The problem is I can't get to watch or play 3D games yet. I think the problem might be the HDMI cable. The monitor required HDMI V1.4a cable for 3D. I have two HDMI cables which one of them came with the monitor. This is what written on both cables:-

High Speed HDMI Cable with Ethernet (already own this cable for a long time, can't remember what year I bought it)
High Speed HDMI Cable (came with the monitor)

"High Speed HDMI Cable with Ethernet" is physically fatter than "High Speed HDMI Cable".

I always thought "High Speed HDMI Cable with Ethernet" is HDMI v1.4 cable. However I don't know whether it is version 1.4 or the latter version which is 1.4a.

For the cable that came with the monitor, I'm a bit surprise if it's not v1.4a but I couldn't tell the exact version based on the description on the cable.

Now, when I try to play 3D games or watching 3D movie, when I put the 3D glasses on, the image doesn't transform to 3D. For example, with naked eye the images is overlapped or split (left & right), when I put the glasses on, the images remain the same. Does this means both HDMI cables are not v1.4a?

For games, I use TriDef for my monitor. I tried BF3 & DiRT2 games. For movies, I use PowerDVD 10.

Where I can get pine wood cat litter? Does anyone know any online shop selling them? I tried to find them myself for a couple of days. I found one at petsmore.com but the brand seems expensive. Trying to find an alternative. Local shop was selling Paw Mark brand pine wood cat litter (9kg = RM30) but not any more.

Hi,

I got problem when trying to view new & unread post. When thread has been subscribed, an email notification will be sent to subscriber with link like this:-

The problem is when I click the link, it bring me to older post. To be precise the date of the post is the date I login. (When I login I ticked "remember me". So when I revisit this forum I won't need to login again.)
