Necking (guitars)

'Kay, here's the situation. I've found out that my el-cheapo Pyramid brand Strat copy has developed a twist in the neck. This has given me additional problems with adjusting the string heights and fixing the intonation. Taken to the guitar shop I bought it from and was told that adjusting the truss rod would only give a temporary solution; the bend would come back in anyway between a few days and a month.

A few questions:

1) How hard is it to change the neck on a bolt-on electric guitar? Would I be able to do it by myself or would I need to bring it in to a shop or something? What sort of things would I be expected to do?

2) Where can I find and buy electric Strat copy necks in the Klang Valley area? How much can I expect to pay?

3com wireless router reboots when stopping torrent

I have a 3com wireless router (model 3CRWE554G72T) that I bought on Friday to replace stuff that got burnt when lightning struck near my home. I've discovered that this model seems to have issues with Bittorrent, specifically when you stop a torrent that has been active for some time: it will cause the router to reboot completely.

I've switched off the built in SPI firewall and set my PC as the DMZ. I've also upgraded the firmware (which fixed an earlier stability problem where the router would just drop all connections without resetting even when there was no traffic every 3-4 hours or so) and tried different Bittorrent clients. Apart from the reboot whenever I stop a torrent that's been active for a while, it works perfectly fine.

I'm looking for workarounds or details on setting up the SPI firewall, if at all possible. The manual can be found here.
