Blackberry Wifi WPA fix

I was just browsing through and i saw more of these similar queries floating around. So i'm gonna post a thread, so i do not have to dig my sent items to retrieve the same message. I think this is easily the sixth time i'm doing this.

For those who are using WIFI, you won't have any problems to a WEP network but you will encounter some issues like why my WIFI is still grey after connecting.

The answer is this :

Here's the problem/situation : Your house Wifi is probably on PSK-WPA. Not WEP. Hence the grey wifi logo.

What you need to do is this .
OS5 : Options -> Advanced Options -> Host Routing Table -> "Blackberry Button" Register Now at Wi-Fi [60].

OS6 : Options -> Type "Host Routing Table" in search bar -> "Blackberry Button" Register Now at Wi-Fi [60]

It should work after this. Reply here if it when it does. If it doesn't work at least there's feedback here and other BBpros can help chip in.

I hope there has been no similar thread before, so MODS please don't close my thread!

Hey, I wonder if anyone can clarify these information with me.

Situation : When I send an Email from my desktop, the (sent) email does not appear on my Blackberry.

- I have checked online and several forums, but the best explanation I got was to call my carrier (Maxis). But they said only BES has this feature, so can someone please verify this?

Alternatives : Does anyone know any way know how to make this happen? As in the sent emails appearing. Or has anyone been able to see their sent emails on their Blackberry. Please share how it came about.

Guys, i'm sure apart upcoming Bold 9780 to the Torch 9800, all have heard of the Curve 9300. Someone asked me, whether it's worth to wait for the newer curve or better to just buy the current one as there isn't much difference. Just wanted to get some opinions.

Apparently the new Curve will be arriving in "coming months" according to XPAX unveils new Blackberry Messenger plan

Hello. I'm interested in changing to Blackberry. I've been looking around and was needing of some opinions.

1. Maxis vs Digi.
- Both offers look decent. But which is more value for money?

2. Blackberry Instant Messaging
- Would I be able to Bb IM someone in another country? And the other person is using another network operator.

3. Unlocked Units from Overseas
- Would like to know if that say a unit brought in from the UK, to be able to use here. It must be an unlock set?

4.AP Units
- I also have heard of AP units, how different are they from those at Maxis, Celcom and Digi?

Microsoft Outlook Configurations

I've been trying to get my University's emails to be routed to Microsoft Outlook and later be synced to my PDA phone via Windows Mobile Device Center.

However, I've not been able to do so, which prompted me to look for help. This is the email configurations i've found.

but as you can see, the outgoing server is empty. I've been advised to place either stmp.streamyx.com or stmp.tm.net.my but to no avail.

Erm, I have a HTC Touch. The memory card slot cover is about to snap into 2 pieces. In addition to that, my cover is slowly peeling off. However, i think that if i peel the pieces off, it'll look okay. The slot cover is the more important part though...no pictures just yet. Will upload soon. Anyone can help? or knows someone who can help? Greatly appreciate it!
