WTA-soundcard problem

Just bought a new Asus xonar essence stx soundcard yesterday, install it and download the driver properly... i guess. The question is, is it normal tat i heard the 'tick tack' sound from the soundcard upon starting and shut down the pc? And another problem is, there is sound coming out from my SS siberia heatset and the vol. seems to be not as loud as b4, i wonder if it's the soundcard problem or it is the headset problem. Haven't try it on 2.1 speaker coz i haven't got 1. I dunno why, and fyi.... this is my 1st soundcard which is not onboard.

I already uninstall my current soundcard driver and update to the latest driver from the web.

I bought a new soundcard today, currently using the onboard soundcard. Do i have to remove the current soundcard driver in order to let the new soundcard work smoothly or just simply install the new soundcard driver without remove the current soundcard driver?

Got some problem with this PSU. The 8 pin cord for motherboard is just too short that it can't reach the motherboard 8 pin socket when doing the cable management. From the picture below, the red and blue socket which is 6 pin into PSU and 6+2 pin for GPU. So, the question is..... Can I replace the 8 pin cord for motherboard which is not detachable with the 8 pin for PCI-e which is detachable (Red/Blue)?

Factory OC GC

I was wondering if the factory OC edition GC is the same as the normal 1 or not. Let's say for gtx 285 we have 648 mhz core clock for normal card, and 670-720 mhz core clock for factory OC card depend on brand. Can we buy the normal gtx 285 with 648 mhz and OC it ourself to reach the same core clock(let's say 700 mhz) as factory OC card and maintain stable?
One more thing, is it true that the normal card and factory OC card have the same peak for OC or the factory OC card can go higher OC than normal card?

Need some guide here, was planning to buy myself a new graphic card, but i've not being doing research for more than a year. And i just found out than there is so much new toy out there tat i don't even know. My current graphic card is 7600GT and it does trouble me when i'm doing WOW raiding, playing Call of Duty 4, Quake and some emulator games. I was planning to buy either nvidia 9800GTX+, nvidia GTX260 or ati 4870 but doesn't know which 1 better. So, i need some guide from expert on this 3 model or others which is better than the 3 in my wish list. Thanks.....

Sharp LCD vs LG LCD

Need a guide here, I'm looking for 32" LCD tv. My budget is not more than RM2.5k. After doing some survey on web, i guess sharp and LG is the best for me. I prefer a LCD with the colour which is more natural. Most LCD display human skin in redish colour if compared with plamas tv(not really sure, but from what i've seen so far, it is.) and the black colour which actually bring some greenish colour and the red which is too artificial. Actually, this is what i've seen earlier last year when i visited BEST denki. But I don't really know bout the improvement so far...... So, i really need an expert to do some research for me coz I don't have electronic shop in my place which display the model i wanted to see the different.

So, which 1 better? LG-32LG80UR or Sharp-LC32D30M

Can any1 tell me if the model above is available in malaysia? where can i get this model and what's the price range for this model?
And any suggestion for other model? I was looking for a home theatre with small size speaker to fix my room and my budget is about 3k.
Was aiming at Pioneer bcoz of it's front stage surround, I hate to see the rear speaker wire, and i don't think wireless rear speaker quality is as good as the 1 connected with wire. Is the front stage surround really the same as the other surround system?
Really need suggestion from all expert here.... thanks
