Universiti Malaya Masters

Hey all,

I've applied for a few master programmes at the University of Malaya, and hope to be a student by September.
From the information I've gathered, most programmes require a minimum of 3 semesters.

I was wondering if this was 3 full semesters spread over 1 and a 1/2 years OR is it possible to do it in 2 Full semesters + 1 Special Semester in a single academic year? I'm hoping its the latter so I can be done with it in a year!

I hope someone can clarify as the information on UM seems to scattered all over the web. Much thanks!

Hey guys! I'd really like to hear from people with experience in askar wataniah. How is it like?
I'm currently studying overseas and won't be able to attend the fortnightly drills. However, I would like to attend the initial training period during the summer holidays. If I do so, would I be exempted from the initial training month(s) and just attend the training weekends if I wished to continue in askar wataniah after I finished studying.

Bank Study Loans

I am currently a local private uni student that was previously planning to do a 2+1 degree. I recently received an offer from a high ranking University in the UK that only accepts students in the 2nd year of the degree (1+2).

However, although I have placed this uni as my firm choice in my UCAS application, I am still unable to apply for a UK Student Visa due to financial problems.

I am interested in taking a bank loan for my first year in the UK (tuition fees and cost of living).

I would appreciate it if you guys could recommend me banks that offer the lowest interest for study loans.

Replies would be greatly appreciated, and would take some burden off my mind. Thanks.

Tailoring a Suit

Hey people ! I'm having an upcoming prom in November and i'd like to tailor a suit, both the jacket and the trousers with a budget of around RM600.
Any recommendations on tailors in the PJ or KL area ? I'm looking for something indie and trendy, sort of the type british-indie bands wear. Any recommendations on the style of suit I should get ?

Recommendations on the cut, fabric, colour, number of buttons, etc would be greatly appreciated too.

Hello people!

I'm a new owner of a HP Pavilion DV4-1167TX and like all new things i'd like to keep it clean, shiny, and scratch-free.

So, could you guys recommend me laptop skins, screen protectors, keyboard skins and whatever else that keeps my screen protected?

oh and btw, the last skin i bought was meant for a 15 inch, my laptop is 14.1 inches and i accidentally cut it to 13 inches. so could you please tell me of a shop that doesn't mind putting the laptop skin/screen protector on for me without any additional charges?
