Need advice on HDD Dock

One of my 4 years old Vantec dual HDD dock just failed on me. Thinking of getting another one but just want to know if nowaday the USB3 HDD Dock can really run on USB3 full speed especailly connecting to two HDD? As from my own experience, my Vantec dual HDD dock can never run on full usb3 speed but rather USB2 speed only even thought it is a USB3 dock....

Did some checking on the new docking are found this Hotway Probox Docking USB3 + ESATA 4-Bay for HDD SATA (HFD1-SU3S2) BLK http://www.lelong.com.my/hotway-probox-doc...7-01-Sale-I.htm Is it good? Anyone uses it before?

Just try to find out if if it is worth buying....

Thinking of getting an entry and cheapest amp for my living room with the features below:

* HDMI 3D passthrough
* 1080p/4k up scaling (I know 4k might be a distance away but I just wanna prepare in advance, hopefully it doesn’t cost a bomb to have this feature…)
* Internet Radio
* Can decode music via USB

Please list the price and model so that I can check further. Much appreciate for the input.

My Logitech Desktop MK250 mouse acting weire...

My Logitech mouse of my Desktop MK250 is actiing weire that sometimes got signal and sometime doesn't... First I thought it was the battery flat but after changing to a couple new batteries, teh problem still remain intact... The device is just slightly more than a year but somehow I lost the receipt else I would have claimed 3 years warrantly....

My question is if there is any other Logitech mouse that I can use along with the same USB receiver of my existing MK250 as I don't want to take out another usb port.

Help needed for upgrading my PC

I'm thinking about upgrading my PC which is already more than 5 yrs old. I would need a PC can act as HTPC if needed as well as playing some games once a while.

I need eSTAT connection, USB3, HDMI output and below is what I gather.

Motherboard: MSI P55-GD65 P55 or Gigabyte P55A-UP3P
Chipset: Intel i5 750 2.66
RAM: Kingston 4GB PC3 10600/1333 CL9
Graphic card: Gigabyte GT240 1GB DDR3 or MSI GD240 1GB DDR3 HDMI
PSU: Andyson 550W 80 plus or CM Extreme 520/550W
Casing: CM Centurion 5 II RC-502

Will this spec sufficient? or overkill?

Any suggestion or comment? Especially on the graphic card.... Also can the on board sound card able to send out the sound via HDMI to Amp?

Any 1080P projector is under RM9K that worth buying? My Optoma HD72 needs RM1800 for changing the board Please let me know the model and the market price so that I can start checking on it. If the price is right, I might take the chance to upgrade to 1080P... Thanks!

Need help on my new HT room

I’m currently using living room for my DVD/BD watching pleasure; however I’m undergo a HT room (14 x 19 ft) construction and will be ready by end of Oct.

Since having HT at living room is totally different from dedicated HT room and I’m going to solely use projector for this HT room. What I need from all the sifu here is the infrastructure below:

1) What kind of fix display screen would you recommend that I can get locally (~RM2K)
2) Someone suggested to pull pipes underground for the cable of speakers, what do you all think? Practical?
3) Someone suggested me to round out the 4 angles of the room using plaster/cement, practical?
4) Any sound acoustic treatment recommended that I can get locally? And please indicate the pricing please.

Gee... my previous thread was gone due to the database corrupted this morning ... Anyway, I'm looking for 46"-52" LCD TV, some say waiting for Sharp new model and some say Samsung 6-9 series.... Please recomment one for me with the price range and I will check it out.

I would prefer the TV has the following but not a must:

Full HD
100hz
1080/24p
USB
IPS panel
=> 30,000 dynamic contrast
=>3 x HDMI
