Here is a story. A long one.

There is this girl that was introduced to me through a mutual friend. That night we hung out with our friends and it seemed that I hit it off with this girl. I managed to get her number and invited her to a party a few days later. I didn't text her until the day before the party. The day before the party I was confirming that she is coming to the party and we texted for a while.

Here is the problem.
That night at the party I got really drunk and blacked out. The last thing I remember was driving her home (I know I am not suppose to do this) and we talked for a while in the car, she told me some personal problems and kept silent most of the time because I was trying to concentrate on the road. We hugged before we went on our separate ways. The next morning my friends told me that I was coming on too strong towards this girl that night, I cursed at her and I spilt some drinks on her. Basically they told me that I was acting like a total ******* and I should just moved on from this girl. Nevertheless, I was still curious and I texted her. We texted for a while and basically I was just checking if she was drunk that night, hoping that she would not remember the things I did and told her to get some rest.

Here is another problem
A few days after the party, a mutual friends of ours invited us to yet another party. I was cautioning myself not to get too f***ed up as last time but I did. Again. This party is a bigger party with more people. There are about equal number of her friends and mine. The same thing happened as last time, I blacked out and the last thing I remember was brought back to my car by my friends and driven home by them. The next morning my friends told me that this time it was even worse than the previous party. I was very touchy towards her and hugged her in front of her friends to the point that she is very uncomfortable with it and have to leave the party. They also told me that her friends asked me in front of her and her friends which girl I am interested in and pointed at her. I also managed to tumble and fall in the party. I didn't remember any of this and I didn't know the situation of the party at that time but I am pretty sure that everyone is not as drunk as me and they can remember this.

They told me everything in the evening the next day and I immediately called her and asked her to tell me what happened that night. She told me that I was very touchy and I apologized and hanged up. That night, her friend that introduced us teased me and asked if I called her that evening. No further contact until now.

I am still curious with her. Move on or try again?

Foobar 2K components

I've been using Foobar 2k more and more to listen to most of my music since my ipod is not with me at the moment. Foobar is great for the FLAC play capabilities and the ASIO out support. Recently I converted most of my FLAC to ALAC and just downloaded the component for foobar so it can play ALAC files. Before downloading it, I notice there are large number of different components for Foobar. Are there any essential other component that is important for me to know?

I know the term essential is very subjective so let's just see your choice and reason. I am just curious about it.

To start the ball rolling, currently I only used ALAC decoder and the ASIO output component.

How important is the DAP in a rig?

I have been reading around this forum and got me thinking. I'm currently using ipod 160gb 6th gen with apple loseless files in it. How much difference does it make to the whole rig if i were to use a better DAP? In this case, iwas thinking of an imod? The sources of my confusion is actually will I be better off spending my money on better amp or headphones?

any comments and opinions is greatly appreciated.
