He shared with me his dilemma.<br /><br />He has offer to be a lecturer at a foreign uni based in KL (he is finishing his phd soon). He also has offer to be a polytechnic lecturer in Singapore.<br /><br />Staying here, his annual package would be RM80k, but it has a good career path (considering this is a university job).<br /><br />Going to SG, his annual package would be S&#036;80k, relatively, it dont have a good career path (as the student age are young, lots of administrative work, no incentive to do research).<br /><br />Projecting 5yrs forward, he would have become senior lecturer/assoc prof in uni, but in SG, most likely still lecturer. But his cash on hand in both cases will be vastly different.<br /><br />This is a classic Money vs Career (future) example. Which would u choose?
