Faulty Western Digital HDD from Lazada

Hi friends, need help with my situation.

I just bought a 4TB MyPassport HDD from Lazada. I had problem the first day i used it. Basically it is the same problem as in this case:

The HDD is always busy but unreadable. I can't run chkdsk and I had a chance running the WD Data Lifeguard Diagnotistic and it Passed the SMART test. I am not sure if i should claim warranty (wait for them to fix it for me?), or should I get RMA.

BTW I am located in KL and the seller is in JB. What is the best option for me to send for Warranty/RMA?

Question about PSU

i have a question:

I just bought a nvidia 9600gt graphic card. On the box it says that i need psu of 400w with 12v x 26A. Can i use a PSU of 550w with dual rail (12v x 18A)? I'm abit worried about cant reaching the 26A requirement. Thank you

pink strip on monitor, No signal to monitor

My graphic card is Nvidia 7600GS and I have been using driver 181.22 for a while. Everything seems alright until last night. All of a sudden the monitor lost signal and went black screen. So i restarted my computer, during bootup screen i realised it is corrupted by pink strips among the letters.After my windows XP (SP3, 32bit) loading screen, the screen went black with no signal output to my monitor (CRT monitor), and no further activities on the harddisk.

So i restarted the computer again and enter safe mode to uninstall the nvidia driver. It appears that i can enter windows normally without any problem(still have the colour problems on the POST screen though) if I have uninstalled nvidia driver. But when I reinstall any nvidia driver it will revert back to that black screen mentioned. I have tried several different drivers :181.22, 180.48, 176.XX and 83.XX (not quite remember) but all resulted in the same problem. Later i realise that eventhough i manage to install 181.22 driver, the installment process is actually incomplete, because it skipped the step of prompting that window to confirm the hardware. For the other drivers, I cant even install them until the final steps. Computer will auto-reset after the display resolution being adjusted by the installation process (I do see a glimpse of the blue screen of death of windows before it resets). Besides that after i have installed 181.22 and entered safe mode i realise that there is missing nvidia control panel (the manager thing?) and also if i look at the driver in the control panel, it will say it is around 1gb size.

In summary, I can use my window with no problem under these conditions: safe mode (with nvidia driver), vga mode (with nvidia driver, but screen went black if i do anything on changing the display) and normal mode without nvidia driver. If i enter windows with (incomplete) nvidia driver installed it will end up in black screen. The POST screens are always screwed up in all conditions mentionedanyway. I have scanned my computer with anti-virus and there is no infection.

Can someone suggest something that i could try on to solve the problem? I may upload some screenies tonight. BTW my cpu is intel pentium C2D 2.13Ghz.
