"Network Connections" folder problem

Why my Network connections folder couldn't display the icon of Local Area Connection??

The screen view of the problem display in attachment

The function of the icon on my desktop also couldn't function.
the icon also couldn't show the STATUS of internet connection.

I also found the internet ICON (located lower right corner) on the task-bar also disappear.
But i'm still can online.

What i need to do for solving the problems???

Please help me....please.....

computer dark blue screen after boot screen ...

my computer hang at XP boot screen every time when i start my computer.
this make me always press the restart button when boot screen hanging.

what i need to do??
please help me.....

Today i have removed the lower DIMM ram, the problem solve for boot screen hanging.

Unfortunately, DARK BLUE screen happen after boot screen and CNT enter the windows.....

Please help me........

windows xp appearance problem......

Desktop---->right click----->properties----->Appearance.....

when i change my desktop appearance to "Windows XP Styles", then apply, ok...... it's work....my desktop now in XP style...

when i start or restart the computer, the problem come....

the windows xp appearance automatically change to "Windows Classic Style"...... all dialog box appear in classic style.....

pls help me.....

I want to buy a new laptop, but i'm headache when choosing the laptop brand.

my budget is below RM 2000, because i just want to use for doing documentation work, online, chatting, write blog, edit some music and etc. strictly no games for laptop.

from the information that i found on internet, there are 5 laptops that meet my budget.

1. Asus Eee PC 1000H Notebook/UMPC (White) RM1,599
2. Asus Eee PC 904HD Netbook/UMPC (Black) RM1,388
3. HP Compaq C795TU 15.4" Notebook PC RM1,799
4. Toshiba NB100-A100B Netbook / UMPC RM1,599
5. Toshiba Satellite L300-P500 Notebook PC RM1,799

anyone have used the laptop listed above please give me your comments.

and i'm looking for your suggestion and recommendation about the better Laptop that below rm 2000.
