Recently my wifey lost her old Acer TimelineX 4820TG laptop after forgotten it was left in the ladies at The Intermark near Family Mart last Thursday evening. Please check HELP Request section. Thanks.

Long Story Version:
Recently my wifey lost her old Acer TimelineX 4820TG laptop after forgotten it was left in the ladies at The Intermark near Family Mart last Thursday evening. Partly her fault I know but she wasn’t feeling well that day. The blurriness had taken over and only found out she didn't have the laptop with her after reaching home 2 hours later.

Well, I had to drive her to back to The Intermark to check if the laptop magical reaches the lost and found. After checking with the Customer Service, there was nothing related to laptop reaches their lost and found. We had reported to CS where was the laptop left and how the laptop bag looks like.

We went to the police station just adjacent to the mall to make lost report and we will need to get in touch with the investigating officer involved at IPD Wangsa Maju near Pudu station.

Before we headed there, we received a call from Intermark CS that they found the laptop bag but no laptop was inside the bag. Someone decided to take the laptop and left us just the bag, well that was kinda expected.

After meeting with the investigation officer, he told us he will check the CCTV at the mall the following day and will update us. Guess what, nothing came back, again another kinda expected outcome.

HELP Request:
Here I request that anyone of you gals/guys whom working as IT technician or you know someone who works in IT at Lowyat or other similar places, that would have a great chance of getting any laptop for fixing.

Please check if someone decided to bring this laptop in for fixing that have similar specs and conditions. If you do, please let me know and help me to get it back. I will be glad to buy you lunch/dinner for your help and time.

The laptop itself doesn’t really worth much as this is a 7+ years old laptop but there is kinda a lot of work related files and baby photos/videos in it. We do have it backup a month before but all data within the last one month are lost.

I’m sure the person who has it now, will look for IT technician to get the CPU/GPU fan fixed and purchase a compatible adapter as well since we still have the adapter with us.

[WTA] Thundermatch Bankrupt?

Is thundermatch bankrupt or something? Been trying to call them and it seems no one ever pickup the phone.

Anyone can help me checkout if they changed their phone number and any other number which I can call?

I've been calling this number 2142 5589 for few days now.
I'm quite busy recently so didn't have time to drop by LYP to check it out myself.

They still owe me a warranty item for 2 months now and still no news from them.
