hi all forumers, would like to ask you all opinions...

what's the reason of a CPU, when you touch it you feel got some electric? (or some numbness in the hand)

1. is it due to power supply not good? or
2. home electric line not good, the grounding earth?

anyway to eliminate it?

sorry for my poor english.. can't really think of better way to explain it.

hi all, want to ask if there's such a device exist.

USB to WIFI transmitter.. so that i can share my internet to WIFI from my pc that connect to streamyx by LAN.

this is because company don't have WIFI and i want to have WIFI to online with my phone.

I'm trying to figure out what's the speed like for the USB cable transfer, and WIFI transfer.
For wifi transfer mode, there are few different apps.
For example, airdroid, wifi file transfer, wifi file explorer.
or browse your LAN with ES file explorer or Solid file explorer.

I'm doing a simple test of transferring a single 873mb ROM file in ZIP format, from PC to phone.
But for WIFI file transfer and wifi file explorer, i don't have paid version, so only can do from phone to PC.

The result is as attached picture.

hi all, i did a quick search in lowyat forum but can't find relevant information that i need.

i want to ask how does the logitech G27 clutch function?

1. if you don't press the clutch, you can't shift? but your H-shifter you can shift right? how? by pass the clutch?
2. how does the clutch feel? (real car we can feel the clutch's friction to the power delivery)
3. heel-toe down shifting... what's the benefit of it? if you don't rev while down shifting, the engine or gear box will blown?

Gigabyte-g31m-es2l south bridge very hot

hi all gurus.... it's been two years since i assemble a new PC.
i just finished assembling a low cost PC using
E5200 with gigabyte G31M-ES2L with 2GB ram.

questions:
the south bridge heatsink is really hot, cannot put my hand on it for more than 15second.
(which i guess is more than 70degree base on my previous reading in forum?)

any one with the same mobo can do the testing for me?

Windows Vista with creative sb live value...

due to the windows vista thread is 40 pages long, there's no way to browse page by page right?

so all gurus, is there any software/driver for creative sound blaster live value series sound card?

the default driver from microsoft sucks big time.

and checked from www.soundblaster.com for this live value card..

it says "product end of life" no further support from them. creative sucks.

i can't get to work at ram 800mhz.

my setup

E6600 ES
Asus N650i
Kingmax 1GB DDR2 800
Galaxy 7900gs.
cooler master hyper tx
north bridge thermaltake extreme spirit II
south bridge no cooling.

i tried

vcore 1.5 (is it too high?)
9x400 = 3.6ghz cannot work.
9x387.5 = 3.487ghz cannot work.

now i'm on
9x380 = 3.42ghz.

i tried 8x400 = 3.2ghz cannot work vcore 1.5
i tried 7x400 = 2.8ghz cannot work vcore 1.5

how should i set vcore?
memory voltage, what's the default?

Any software to know what HDD is reading/writing?

when the computer starts to become unresponsive, the HDD keeps on blinking. Any idea what the OS is reading/writing?

i downloaded this

Gaim 1.1.4 (Red Hat 9) gaim-1.1.4-0rh9.i386.rpm

then, i double click the rpm file (exe as in windows right?)
then.. ask me for root's password...
entered the password.

then it check the rpm file... then, nothing happened....

been really really blurred..
