Hey Everyone,

I am a prepaid user, recently I topped up my account which has a balance of RM 2.++ left.

I proceeded to add RM 30 (without GST), and after that when I was about to buy some data, to my surprise the remaining balance had been reduced to RM 29.++....

I hope someone could explain this 'hidden charge'.

Hello there netizens, I have recently cut off my Astro IPTV + Maxis Fibre services after 2 YEARS of contract, and during the modem collections, they came over and collected ALL the devices, including the TM BTU.

I assumed that it was the proper procedure, until, a week ago, I have applied for a TM Unifi line, and when the technicians came over, they looked at the fibre optic cable and started to ask the my rep there, "Where is the BTU? We cannot install your Unifi without the former provider's BTU..". I was kind of perplexed when I heard about this on the phone.

They claimed that, Maxis/Astro should've left the BTU unit there, but for what reason I was not informed. I have tried to iron out this issue with the TM Point, TM Center, inside man and so forth, until now they could not provide me with a solution, saying that each unit has it's own user etc.

So if there is anyone knowledgeable on this issue, could you please enlighten me on this? And what is the best solution to get out of this mess? Thank you so much.

I am writing here to share my experience with Maxis Fibre for the past few days. The internet was out for a few days, dragging the Iptv along with it, customer service can't be reached at all (call unanswered or they'll say the number can't be reached from prepaid or something)...self diagnosis point out that the internet is suffering from some AuthFailure.

I don't wish to go on further, since typing on a smartphone isn't that more enjoyable as eating soup with a fork, just my verdict is,

Maxis Fibre sucks....

Dear Maxis,

For the past few days, I could not receive any internet, Iptv also went down, and customer service totally unreachable. Anyways I have done some self dianogsis, the Internet Service tab gives an AuthFailure error.

On top of that, the Internet light on the router itself is blank. I am sending this message with hopes that someone from Maxis may give me an explanation. Thank you.

Beginning early this week I have been experiencing a severe downtime, one where the Fibre Optic internet is unavailable, Astro Iptv is not broadcasting and all attempts to contact Customer Service is futile (reason given : can't reach this number with Home Prepaid)....

I hope some form of support might happen upon this message, and if any Maxis Rep wishes to know more particulars, I will send a PM. Thank you....

Custom Webmail URL

I have just gotten a webmail server, but my colleague insists that all recipients login from a custom URL (ie. mail.yourdomain.com). The problem is,

1) I can't login to google apps admin ( and there is no time)

2) I found some tutorials, but have absolutely no idea how to access the usr folder, even thru FTP. Have tried using Putty, but I don't understand anything about it's interface.

Is there any other way? My colleagues don't have outlook, they just wished to login into their webmail by the custom URL, but if there is a 3rd party app or software that has a good understandable UI, please suggest it to me.

Can any networking pro help me?

I set up Xlink Kai Version 7.4.18 beta, everything is working fine, network is reachable, console detected, arena joined, but no game on console(TV)

im using levelone wireless router WBR 3408, i connect xbox 360 to router thru ethernet, but my laptop (the software) is connected wirelessly to the router.

I've tried almost every possible solution, including, turning off firewalls, PAT, direct connection, deleting updates, switch versions, EXCEPT,

flashing dd-wrt with KAID into my router, but I scared it will brick (my only router).....

but if any pros out there got it working, please share your knowledge TQ

btw my console is 360, not old, ugly XBOX 1...

I believe most of you guys have played COD 5 (call of duty), and experienced the annoying BANZAI squads......

But what is the true translation of BANZAI?

the weird thing is, I watched "K-On" the other day (subbed), and I found it quite surprising to know that most of the translation of BANZAI is "YAHOO"!

ok now, I've been thinking weird thoughts, like the japanese suicide squads are actually screaming YAHOO while sacrificing their lives during battle.........

BANZAI - Hooray / Yahoo / Cheers / Hip hip hooray / etc. Generally an exclamation of joy, yelled out with hands and arms extended in such a way as to make the speaker look as much like the letter "X" as possible. It would be a fairly straightforward translation, were so many Westerners not conditioned to linking the use of "Banzai" to kamikaze attacks on WW2 ships. Hearing this more normal usage can be something of a jolt.
