PC running but no image on monitor.

WTA u guys something related to hardware problems.
could a loose/improper graphic card insertion can cause a pc running but no image on the monitor?
all the parts on the pc are connected just fine including the monitor itself.
I corrected the insertion of the GC and the problem was sorted out. is this some kind of a sign of disaster waiting to happen or I'm the one getting paranoid?

No Beeps No Sounds No Video

Hi, like some other problems other people had mine was a bit different.
My pc sometimes can be turn on and enter BIOS/POST and then OS then everything is fine. But whenever I restart due to updates or anything, the system restarted but there's just blackout although the lights and the fans on Mobo, GC and chassis all turning.

I tried pulling out parts every parts one and by one and doing some test as well but the same thing keeps happening. Occasionally, it would get stuck on BIOS and won't enter POST or OS or blackout. Right now, the only thing that keeps the thing going is that I have to turn the power off and back on. Sometimes I can turn it back on immediately to normal or it would enter blackout with everything is running.

could it be bad caps or faulty wires? or just bad BIOS? please help

UPDATE: could a faulty HDD be doing all this? -.-

Hey guys, I've got a xbox360 console for quite a while and got it x-clamp around this year. After that it's been working fine and now got a new problem.

My Disc Drive is dead. I can't play any DVD or Games no matter what solution the Microsoft Support have. By that, I think the DVD-ROM is broken.

Any solution to that?

ps: got it x-clamped by Virgil and it's working fine till now.
Problem with GPU or PSU

erm..
i got a Palit HD4870 Sonic which got RMA not too long ago after a breakdown in which I think cause by a electrical short.
I coupled it with a
Asus M3A78-T board , ST56F Psu and AMD 9550 X4 processor and some other standard stuffs like KVR RAMs and SATA HDDs.

I got a problem relating to auto-shutdown after getting it RMA about two weeks ago.
This usually happens while playing high setting games and suddenly causes a blackout which I can reboot the system after switching off the plugs and leave it for a couple of secs and then I can turn it back on.
Is this gotta have to do with the GPU not enuf juice or the RMA'ed Palit HD4870???
my first guess would be the voltage or temp
but is this normal??

[attachmentid=1189748]

Well, I've been playing Crysis and COD4 online for awhile until I've got this problem..

Ever since I'm playing hard games like COD4 and Crysis, my computer just shut down by itself after a half an hour or even just after few minutes of playing. I've tried monitoring heat temperature but its normal. PSU, more than cukup makan for my HD4870 and AMD X4 proc. It can be reboot again after I on-off the computer plug and I've never got this problem with my HD3850 but got this problem instead with my HD4870. I've tried also to lower the resolutions and settings for both games to the lowest as possible and it still happens.

Can anyone figure out what's wrong??

ps: my Palit HD4870 Sonic just got warrantied and I think that might be the problem but I think not and my system can play COD4 and Crysis at high resolution and settings.

Maintaining A Healthy Relationship

Maintaining a Healthy Relationship

Hello there, welcome

The necessity in maintaining a healthy relationship
I'm not going to ask somebody to change their life, their way of doing things. However, a change is not all bad and there are two sides which I cannot seems to give sides into. I'll treat both genders as equal. Here goes..

Communication

» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «

It sounds so simple but talking to each other and opening up is one of the most important things you can do to maintain a healthy relationship. When you have a problem at home or at work who do you talk to - and who does he? Your friends, your mum?

Remember how well you know each other. When something's on your mind he'll be able to tell and if you're not talking about it then he might just think you're being grumpy. He's much more likely to respond well if you share the problem, and the same goes for him as well.

Good communication also vital in getting to know someone. The way you let your words out gives better perspective from the man towards you. Practice makes perfect people say, lying and faking can only make things worse if you end up in a bad situation. This is a great way to get the man you want no matter who they are and who matter who you are.

Strengthen Your Resolve

» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «

It's so much easier to walk away from something than to try to make it work. Every relationship goes through rough patches but a lot of the time things can be worked on and you'll come out the other side a stronger couple. Some things can seem so big you can never get over them but isn't it worth a try?

Happily ever after does not happen effortlessly. Relationships need working on; you need to learn to compromise, to know when to agree to disagree. You need to know when to take a stand and when to back down gracefully.

The more you work at it, the stronger the relationship will be and the happier the ever after too. When we get it right, we learn and when we get it wrong, we also learn. Either way we learn and we can move forward, so explore and learn your surroundings.

Learn to Solve Problems

» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «

When things go wrong, do you row about it? It's often very hard not to and while arguing is a normal, healthy part of most relationships, it's important to make sure that it is constructive and you're not just yelling for the sake of it and it won't get you anyone into your life.

Resolving arguments and solving the problem without letting it escalate is quite a skill and one you do really need to master for the sake of your relationship. Mastering to resolve arguments gives better future for your relationship.

Passion

» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «

Often one of the biggest differences between a new couple and one that's been together for years is the lack of passion or exciting sex in their relationship. There's no reason that this should be the case.

You might have been there and done that loads of times but you are still two people who did and still do find each other sexually attractive. You might just need to remind each other of that sometimes by making a bit of extra effort.

Whether that's buying some new lingerie or him agreeing to a night off from watching football to make time for dinner out or a cosy night in, small touches here and there will make a big difference.

Make quality time for each other. Touch regularly; remember that human touch has the power to soothe, support and encourage - whether it's a peck on the cheek, a hug or making love.

Have Your Own Life

» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «

When you become a solid part of a couple it's easy to lose a bit of your own individual identity and let everything become about 'we' and 'us'. This, is mainly what relationships are about - considering someone else's feelings as well as your own, but you don't need it to take over and become all you're concerned about.

Make time for your friends, take an evening out a week to do something that interests you. It's too easy to make excuses as to why you shouldn't do that Spanish class or set up a regular trip to the cinema with a friend - but just do it. What's a few hours out of your week and we bet it'll make you come back to hubby feeling that much happier.

Make time to be alone and to pursue your hobbies and interests. Being a couple doesn't mean that you're no longer an individual. You deserve time to yourself. This will also give you the opportunity to contribute something new and fresh to the relationship.

Respect

» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «

When you've been with someone for a long time, you begin to take them for granted. We all do it and it takes a big person to keep themselves in check.

We often end up speaking to our partners in a way we would never dream of speaking to anyone else. Of course, this is partly because you're not as close with other people but just imagine if your friends or family could hear you speaking to your partner like that, or making unreasonable demands. Would you be embarrassed? If the answer's yes, then don't do it.

Remember, treat your partner the way you wish to be treated. Remember we all want to be loved and respected for who we are. Take time to appreciate and remember the qualities that attracted you to your partner in the first place and let him know how much you love him.

Fun

» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «

I've advised you to make time for yourself and to go out and do things with friends, but that shouldn't mean you don't have fun with your partner as well. When you're living with someone, you see them at home, watch the telly with them and talk about the kids and the bills and all the practicalities of life and you go out and get your fun and interesting conversation elsewhere. Things don't need to be like that.

It can be hard to make quality time together because we all have busy lives but you don't need to go out to have a laugh. Stay in and chat rather than watching the TV. Play stupid games with each other - do things you used to do when you were dating. You should soon see the benefits.

This would be my last entry for today, THANK GOD I've recovered my first actual work for this topic due to yesterday's connection problem with TMNET and thanks to the woman who've given such a brilliant idea and inspiration and to some LYN forumers as well.

For the previous wall of text or whatever piece of s**t I've made, I wish I'll never do something like that again in my entire life.
Hope you all enjoy reading

Extra

» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «

Now I'm goddamn tired and could probably write this better, meh its 3 pm (stealing silverhawk's style)
