What sports car?

my son has finally got a job and he's being paid RM4500. i know its not enough to own and maintain a sports car. but he's too stubborn n loves cars very much. so, i've agreed to come out with the downpayment. now i need to know which sports car hs the lowest downpayment n also not too expensive for my son to pay monthly. hope u guys can help.

editted-- i forgot to mention that i pay my son's salary. he works for me. so, i am not going to give him a raise for a long long time. so, the 4.5k has got to be enough.

Alpine F#1 Status

hi all,

after my first investment on ICE, i am so into it now. so now, i am planning to get a whole F#1 Status for my other car. i heard its damn good but never really listened to it before. i am still into sq, so help me where u can.

1. for the HU, i am not sure which one to choose. its either DVI-9990 or TMI-M990. one is single din n the other is double din. i seriously prefer the single din but kinda like monitor in the double din. but will both sound the same? if its different, how would it be different? and which is better if both are different?

2. for the front, i am strictly going for a 3 way. so it has to be SPX-Z18T right? my question here is about playing it active or passive? what are the differences actually?

3. for the rear, i dont know which one to get because i think F#1 has no subs. so any recommendations? it has to be on par with F#1 or higher. another qustions is how many do i need? 1 or 2? its going to be installed in a bigger car than my first car. so, i am not sure.

4. now the amps. i will stick with the MRV-F900. how many do i need if i am playing active? if passive? and if 1 sub or 2 subs?

5. there's another thing called the High Resolution D/A Converter DAI-C990. what is it actually? i dont have it in my first car? what is it for? how important is it?

can i get all of these in Malaysia? if yes where? name of shop? can anyone give me a breakdown of the prices of all these items? how much would it cost for installations and tuning?

Want to Change amps

hello everybody, i'm new to ice and i need some useful feedbacks from u guys here. last weekend, i did a total ice upgrade to my car.
the following is my setup:
player: clarion hx-d2
speaker: focal kit no5
woofer: peerless xxls 12''
amplifier: vrx 2.250, vrx 1.500

it cost me more than what my car is worth now. but i am not too happy with the sound. i think its the amps that i need to change. so, i tot of changing it to Zapco Reference or DC 1000.4. its a 4 channel, so i want to use it for the speaker and the woofer. not sure i can do this. i guess i can because its 4 channel and now i am using 2+1 channel amplifiers. so, i have 1 extra channel n i save place.

how much are these amps n what r the differences?

I've been sitting n thinking what to do for my car with this amount of money. just cant get an idea. got new seats, rims, sound system, gear knob n handbrake handle, sports spring, exhaust system.

whats next? any suggestions? tot of getting a steering or dashboard but its over my budget. my hand oso very gatal dy. must do smtg n it must be today.
