Probable scam at Lazada

Saw this on lazada.

So the product description shows the phone as having 4GB RAM / 64GB internal storage. Wow.
But if you scroll down to the end, the whats in the box description says the phone is 2GB RAM/32GB internal storage.

So kind of misleading. I've already posted a review on Lazada but there doesn't seem to be a way to ask them to correct this posting.

Nearly bought the phone but luckily read through everything.

Anyone know anybody at Lazada? Please alert them to this. May be a simple typo, or fraud.

The current offer at Illegear for the P15V F2 with the freebies is tempting & I am considering getting one for work as its.
a. Specs are ok.
b. Not flashy. Can take to meetings & it looks good.

My questions to people who have used this laptop before.
1. How is it?
2. Screen usable indoors? Heard that it is a little dim.
3. Any known problems with the laptop?

Any Laptop repair in Penang

Hi Guys,

My laptop is a HP Pavilion DV6000. Running Windows XP
Symptoms,
-Display screen was slightly distorted (you could see slight shadowing of text) when I started up the laptop this morning but became ok after about 5 minutes.
-2 hours later, the screen went blank. I restarted the laptop, the display screen got worse, now, all text looks like I need to wear 3D glasses to read them. Also, moving the mouse anywhere on the screen leaves a sort of trail.
- shutdown & restarted the laptop, still just as bad.
- tried to do an antivirus boot scan but unable to.
- restarted the laptop & tried to used last known good config. No use. still crappy
- restarted in safemode, tried to use an earlier system recovery point. still crappy.
- restarted in normal mode. Got sent to choose startup (safemode, last known good config, start normal screen) instead.
- doesn't seem to be able to start up in normal mode now but can start up in safe mode, but with the crappy display.

Looks like my GPU got problem? Or virus?

Any advice you guys could give would be appreciated.
Also, if the GPU got problem, maybe can repair? Any recommendations in Penang?
There is this guy at Sunshine Farlim, seems ok but haven't used him laptop repair before.

Please advice.

Upgrading hard drive for old HP DV6000 lappy

Hi Guys,

Needs some advice from anyone who has had experience in replacing a hard drive.
My laptop is a HP Pavilion DV6000 series & I would like to replace it's hard drive with a SSHD. Maybe something like this.

Only problem is I don't know if the hard drive will be usable as my laptop is about 5 years old.

Wira 1.5A repair recomendation in Penang

Hi Guys,
I'm driving a 1.5A Wira & am looking for a good mechanic in Penang who specializes in Wira 1.5A.
My current mechanic in Air Itam is ok but sometimes a little blur. I'm thinking of changing as the last repair he did, he managed to disable my cruise control.
I know a good one in Ipoh who actually repaired this for me the last time my Penang Mechanic cause this problem (which he does everytime there is an engine repair).
According to my Ipoh mechanic, there is a tube which from the carburetor which is used by the cruise control to sense the speed & this tube was connected wrongly which caused the cruise control to stop working.

If anyone knows a mechanic in Penang who knows how to fix this problem, please let me know. Some of the other mechanics I asked around just only know how to replace but don't know how to repair.

Where to print out score sheets in Penang, B4 size

Hi guys,

I'm looking for a print/photo copy shop in Penang that can print out B4 size. I currently print my scores on A4 but B4 would be better as it's bigger. A3 size is a little to big.
I've already been to the shops near the USM Sg Dua entrance but they only print A4 & A3 sizes.
I'm looking for a shop in the Bayan Lepas area or nearby.

EEE PC Netbook won't turn on

Hi Guys,
My EEE PC could not turn on last night when plugged in to the charger.
The battery was removed & the netbook was plugged in to the charger.
When I switched the charger on, the blue light on the charger was flickering.
When I press the on button on the netbook, nothing happens.
I then switched off the charger & switched it on when it wasn't plugged in & the blue LED light on the charged was lit & stable.
Switched the charger off, waited for the blue light to dim out & plugged the charger back into the netbook, switched the charger on, & the blue light was flickering again & the netbook still won't turn on.
Any advice?
Also, any recommendations on who I can sent the netbook to in Penang for repair?

Hi,
I have an old Dynabook laptop. It's adapter just died & I need to buy a new one. The current output for the adapter is 15V @ 2A. However, the only adapter that I managed to find that can fit is a 15V @ 3A. Any comments if I were to use the 3A adapter?
