Hi all,

My case is like this.

Customer required to enter credit card information when register new account. Here need to verify the card.

Then when customer win a bidding, it auto debit the card.

How can i do that? As far as i know, i need to integrate the system with payment gateway such as netbuilder, maybank or so on. And also purchase a SSL.

And i need a code to encrypt the credit card information if require to store in my database.

Another question is, can the payment gateway do the credit card verification and debit the card later manually by our administrator?

Also, which payment gateway is better? Please advise. Thank you.

Regards,
ChunKet

Looking for File Server Solutions

Good day. I looking for a file server solution for my company. Well, i just need a simple solution to share files among colleague with some security control such as who can access to whatever folder and who can't and etc.

As far as i understand, i can purchase and set up a Window Server 2003 server but it's license is expensive. Alternatively, i can configure a Linux server with Samba but im not so familiar with Linux environment and also my colleague.

One of my friend introduced me Maxtor Shared Storage, it's like a quick file server solution which come with a software to manage user access and file structure. I was told to simply connect it to the switch/router and it will work like a file server. However, i would like to seek for more opinions on this Maxtor Shared Storage. Should i go for it or Window Server or Linux Server? Or may be other solutions.

Please advice. Thank you.

Regards,
ChunKet

Hi,

I have recently purchase one Samsung Bixolon SRP-350plus thermal printer. I used it to print receipt for my project. Firstly, it works fine on my notebook when i first installed. But when i tried to install it in another PC, the printer did not stop loading paper while printing document. I have tried this printer in other PCs as well. So far i have tried in 6 PCs including my notebook. Only the notebook work fine. Other PCs will load paper non-stop.

I have tried to format and reinstall Windows; install the printer driver from CDs or download from website. No error while installing driver. I have no clue on this issue. Please give some advise. Thank you.

[addedon]July 31, 2007, 9:11 am[/addedon]bump

Hi,

i wanted to set up a webserver for commercial usage. but im not so good in hardware stuff. so i hope members here can give me some cues.

well, im actually doing a project that use linux, apache, mysql and php. although i know it was free but do i require to purchase license for commercial usage?

other than that, what kind of software do i need for the webserver? also, where can i buy the particular software at kl? mysql is selling at RM2200. where can i get cheap one.

thanks
