Win Vista cannot browse SD card

Hi all,

Just bought a 4Gb non sdhc sd card for use on my pda phone. Initially put straight into pda ok, can browse etc. but when i put in my lappy to copy files, windows explorer kinda hangs a bit when i insert it. then when i double click on it, it says need to format. i say ok, try to format la. but then says cannot format.

i used it in my wifeys lappy, ok no probs. then i format using her lappy, all ok no problem. can browse & make/transfer files.

then went back to my lappy same problem, ask to format again then cannot format!!

tried searching net for sd card drivers but no any.

put back sdcard in pda, used activesync THEN can browse card. now copying

both lapps using win vista, with all updates installed, using 'internal' card reader. no problems of the card reader with my previous 2Gb sd or my memory stick

any help please??

Cannot enable wireless connection

Hi all,

dunno if this should be in vista or internet related forum cos it concerns both. mods please move if feel necessary...

Have a HP lappy with vista home premium. using wireless connection no probs since bought it. yesterday when i turn on lappy, says not connected to wireless network, thought it was my crappy d-link router. used another lappy with wireless all ok, so not router problem

in device manager says the broadcom wireless is enabled & working fine. but still cannot connect. then i look at network connection tab says wireless connection is disabled, so i enable lor. but somehow it cannot be enabled.

what to do? i've looked on the hp site, i'm running the latest drivers as confirmed on hp site & device manager. how to enable my wireless connection again???
