Here's a simple draft of my office networking

Currently:
- Administrator Workstation is connected to internet/network via Internet Connection Sharing through File Server
- All computers on both subnets (192.168.1.x and 192.168.2.x) can access both Server A and Server B at the same time
- All users on subnet 192.168.1.x can access the File Server
- Administrator Workstation and File Server can access Server A and Server B through VNC
- Server A and Server B (both having two ethernet cards each) connects to the internet via 192.168.1.x subnet, while still having local access in the 192.168.2.x subnet
- All workstations on subnet 192.168.2.x cannot access (and is not accessible from) the File Server (and Administrator Workstation)

Limitations:
- Administrator workstation should only connect to the network via ICS through File Server
- File Server cannot be connected physically to the 192.168.2.x subnet
- Server A and Server B must maintain access to both subnets

Question: How can all workstations on subnet 192.168.2.x access the file server? What alternatives are there?

no email notification on PM

i used to always get notified by email as soon as i get a new pm in my forum inbox, but now i never get anymore emails, and only when i refresh an LYN forum window, i see the pm notification on the top of the page..

i need the email notification, cuz it's important to me... my email account didnt block lowyat from sending me emails.

last nite, in this topic, i replied to it and offered the seller the price and asked him to pm me if he wanted to deal, then a few mins later a guy pm me in MSN and told me he is the seller and he wants to sell it off for that price...

i asked him about the memory stick and everything, then he said he will use nationwide to send, even though it is a lil bit more expensive, but he doesnt mind (i offered rm200 + rm20 for the 2 items including shipping)... he gave me his bank account number rite away and asked for my details...

i was getting excited... but i suddenly remembered sumthin... immediately, i asked him to send me a PM in LYN to prove that he is the seller (crxr)... he said "lol, dont worry la"... but i insisted, and he gave an excuse and said "brb, i go pack the things"... then he tried to make a getaway... by saying "hey, sumone is offering me rm220 for the memory stick alone... im talking to him now"... i said "send me a pm and i will transfer the money rite away"... i continued waiting and he finally ask me "LYN got problem isit? how come i cant go in..." i kept waiting and then he said he sent 3 empty PMs to me but i never got anything... he said he was sorry and selling it to the guy who offered a higher price and said thank you to me...

in fact, when he was saying he is trying to send a pm, i was constantly refreshing the seller's profile page to see if his status will turn online but it never...

after i ended the chat with that guy, i sent a PM to the seller personally, and i got a reply from the seller and found that the bank account number the seller gave me was different and the stock was still available...

BE CAREFUL!!!

GA-945P-DS3 rig having errors

as i said, a customer of mine has problems with this rig he bought from our shop...

PC specs:

Intel C2D 1.86GHz
2GB DDR667
Gigabyte GA-945P-DS3
Galaxy 7300GT (with zalman fan)

having problems with windows... 2nd time he complain...

1st time, he came back and complained about typing in new text document or word.. pc restart automatically after typing a few letters... then, when starting intenet explorer, an error pops up n closes automatically... our technician repaired the windows n evrything was ok... he tested a long time at our shop n found no problems...

then.... got his phone call today... errors again! i need help on this issue ASAP... until he brings his PC back to our shop, i cant explain more about the problems... but if anyone of u out there knows anything abt this issue, pls let me noe... i will update ASAP...

*UPDATE:
the previous error on the notepad n word thing is dat, after he types, n when he saves, the system automatically restarts...
and according to all this complaints, we dun think there's any problem with the hardware... i will try to clean adware n virus later and if all else fails i try format...
