Reason for sale:
Went Japan for trip but realised forgot to bring Camera. Bought this camera from Yodobashi Camera in Tokyo. Choose this model because it's the newest, feature rich and most importantly International Warranty. Just launched in Japan on September. Not available anywhere else yet.

Bought for about RM840. Actual usage of this camera is probably 4 days only. That's about it.

Folks, i'm really not sure if this is the place to ask about this.

I've read alot of topic, jpj portal, blogs and whatnot but it's still very blur.

I want to bid for number but i really don't know how to do it. It's just a current number (so the booking fees is RM300)

Questions :
i) How do you know if the nnumber is open for bid?
ii) The first 50% of the bidding is by kiriman pos, what about the remaining 50%? by kirimamn pos also?
iii) The RM10 service charge, it is by cash? or stamp?
iv) Can you bid for more than 1 number?
v) If you fail in your bid, can you bid for another number right away?

From the website, it says i need,

APPLICATION REGISTRATION NUMBER IS TO OFFER

- M.V. 10 form
- RM 10.00 service charge.
- Deposit of 50% of the book and submitted by bank draft / money order / postal order payable to "Ketua Pengarah Pengangkutan Jalan Malaysia"
- Cetified copy of Identity Card of Applicant (individual / company)
- Copy of the Certificate of Incorporation (Form 9 or Form 13) and Form 49 endorsed by the Registrar of Companies / Company Secretary or a copy of Business Registration Certificate).
- Addressed stamped envelope itself.

Also, where do you get those stuff highlighted above? Are those only for company application?

Buying and Owning a Mini Cooper

I'm thinking of selling my '07 Black Civic 2.0 to get a Mini Cooper. Currently the ones that I targeted is the year 2005 / 2006 Mini Cooper 1.6 which is weirdly priced around 115k - 135k. A large price range if you ask me. My Civic is quoted for 96k for trade-in.

I'm not particular about the performance of the car but more of the driving ability instead. I want a fun, small, city car to drive where I can chuck it around town.

The reason I decided to change the car is that I'm so sick of making decision from my head. I want to make a decision based on my heart this time. Something that is usually really loved but absolutely defies practicality.

If anyone owns a Mini, care to share your experience with me? In terms of reliability, maintenance cost and non-BMW workshops. Anything will do.

Also, if anyone selling. Let me know. Mini Cooper or Mini One is fine.

I'm in midst of understanding how to register a new company. Anyone has any experience in doing so?
Probably things like,

i) What documents needed?
ii) How many staffs are needed?
iii) Where to do it?
iv) How much to do it?
v) Are there any types of company to register? (i.e. sdn. bhd. or bhd.)
vi) What other information is needed?
vii) etc.

Any feedback is well appreciated.

BBQ Meat supplying business

I always have lots of passion in the food industry. Weird as it sound, i spend a lot of time experimenting with food. (*ahem, cooking not eating. Well, eating afterwards lah.) After watching numerous AFC programs for years, especially "License to grill" (gangsta chef), i was wondering to myself if i could turn my passion into a business.

Not to gloat too much, but i have a secret formula to marinate the meat to make a kickass BBQ / grill meat. So, generally, i was thinking to start a business to supply homes or probably small cafes these marinated meat as well as the method of cooking. You know, for their BBQ party events and such.

What do you think? Any comments or opinion i can get to expand my network or create the awareness if i were to start something like that? Basically, anything at all would be great! I'm not really expecting to earn really big bucks from it, more like satisfying my passion. Or at least not big bucks at the beginning.... LOL
