WTA HDD Price

I'm aiming for 10TBs of HDD. But when I search in Lazada/Shoppee, most of the seller only have up to 8TBs of HDD. Rarely with 10TBs and above, and the price is insanely expensive as compared to Amazon. Why there is huge different of price in local as compared to Amazon.

And if I were to decide to purchase from Amazon, how the warranty will be. Any idea?

Upgrading Laptop Processor

I owned Acer Ferrari One for almost 2 years, thinking of upgrading the processor and maybe RAM as well. I have 2 questions

1. Current processor is AMD Athlon X2 Dual-Core Mobile L310 1.2GHz. I'm not really sure about the socket. Upon googling found out it is BGA / 638 lidless micro-PGA. Can it fits with AMD Turion™ II Neo | AMD Athlon™ II Neo Processors ASB2 (BGA) family?

2. For RAM, I haven't open my laptop. Don't know how many slots are availabe for upgrading. Googling not helps.

Anybody can help me, thanks.

Samsung SII + Data Rebate

I read these 2 thread:

http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/2112360
http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/2251018

I facing issue similar to this. But not really sure whether I was tricked or not.

I made my decision to change to DIGI when I saw Nov 2011. When you purchase SII with Digi Smart Plan 48. You can get RM15 rebate monthly for 2 years. RM5 for auto-billing and RM10 for phone purchase via DIGI Online Store.

[attachmentid=2774785]

Based on screenshot above, clearly stated MNP+Phone.

Ok, MNP done and I receive my new SIM. I call DIGI Call Centre, they said that I need to get my SIM ported and then they will process phone purchase after that. After my phone activated, I try to make online purchase however the system do not allow it (warning message sumthin like need at least 3 months as DIGI customer). I called again what should I do next. They said online purchase can only be done after 3 months, if I walk-in then I can get the phone immediately. I went to Mid Valley branch, unfortunately no stock. I did confirmed with them and they said I can get RM10 rebate. After that, I went to DIGI branch at Kota Bharu, Kelantan and they said only even walk-in still need to wait 3 months. Which one is correct?

Then on 4th March 2012, I managed to purchase the phone using DIGI Online Store. And emailed DIGI to get my rebate. And I get respond below:
[attachmentid=2774825]

My question is: When customer want to buy phone using Digi Online Store, popup appears with 3 options: Keep my DiGi Postpaid number; Switch to DiGi
(MNP - Mobile Number Portability); Get a new number. Meaning that online purchase can cater immediate phone purchase eventho MNP. However, after I received my SIM card then I know that only DIGI customer with more than 3 months can make online purchase. What the heck is this??
