These days, I find that Ktards are getting more and more demanding.

When open thread sure demand for picture, if no picture TS sure kena bash.... Even show picture, still comment banyak. throw phone away, throw away your potato camera, etc...

If show something special then say not special even if it's really special la... story sejuk la... this la, that la... macam sendiri really pro or what...

5-cent sparks anger!

1. Just came back from Subway for brunch + tea time.

2. The bill was $10.95.

3. Cashier asked me whether I had 5 cent.

4. I said "NO" politely.

5. I paid with a $50 note.

6. I expected the change to be $39.05

7. Cashier returned me $39.00 instead.

8. I turned back to have a query about the change.

9. She said she only had 10 cent and she asked me if I would want to take it.

10. I said "Okay" and I took it.

Her face turned sour on the spot. She slammed the cashier box and overturned the donation box to "harvest" all the coins. I find her action quite intimidating. Was it a form of protest against customers who didn't bring 5 cent around?

I don't think I'm wrong. What makes her think that my 5 cent is less important than her 5 cent?!

The insignificant amount of 5 cent is one thing. There's no reason for her to belittle me and my 5 cents based on that. Had she told me politely that she didn't have 5 cent right from the begining, I would let her keep the 5 cent to save trouble for both of us.

When there is a surplus at the end of the day, do you think the cashier will book it or pocket it?

Have you guys come across with this kind of cashier before?

- The inheritance law in Sabah, Sarawak, Malaya is different.

- However, a will that's legally binding in Sabah (or Sarawak) is enforceable to an individual's properties in Malaya (or Sarawak) accordingly upon seeking the order from the High Court of Malaya and vice versa.

- Would it be the same case on my properties in Singapore?

- Usually how do people manage their overseas properties in this regard?

Singapore news spreads like wild fire in kopitiam everyday. The reason may be there are /ktards who somehow have some connections with the Singaporean society and feel very much attached to it, thus, they are rather keen to share their news with the rest of us.

I wish to thank them personally for their effort. I cannot imagine how koptiam would be like these days without them. Can I have just a show of hand? Siapa punya mamak atau babak penduduk singapura? Siapa sedang belajar kat Singapura? Adik atau kakak atau abang sekarang bekerja kat Singapura? etc....

BTW, siapa nak pergi merayau-rayau di Singapura hujung minggu ini? Ayam sangat bosan duduk di rumah merendam di kopitiam saja hari2 ...
