Laptop CMOS Battery Dead

Hi, I've got a problem with my Dell Inspiron N4010 which I suspect would be the CMOS battery.

I shutdown my laptop and the AC line is unplug, and when I boot up my laptop again a beep will sound and the DATE and TIME in my BIOS was reset to 2009. So I suspect it would be the CMOS battery.

My question is how much would it cost for laptop CMOS battery and can anyone sure that my problem is caused by CMOS battery?

Thank you.

[addedon]May 21, 2011, 2:53 pm[/addedon]Anyone, help me please....

Laptop suggestion (not for gaming).

Hi, i'm thinking of buying a new laptop.
could you recommend one?

1)Brand : any, but prefer asus and acer will be my last choice.
2)price: RM2100 below.

also want to know about comparison in terms of:

1)battery life.
2)warranty.
3)overheat problem.

i'm using laptop for :

1)internet surfing.
2)heavy downloading/uploading.
3)watching movie.
4)no gaming.
5)Words, PDF, Power Point.
6)some engineering students software (not graphic/design thing, just programming/compiling code that use high processor usage).

plus i have one more question here..
is it true acer now produce a better product for its new laptop model?
i mean acer laptop now has less problem and will last longer...
i have a nightmare with my previous acer laptop.

or does it because of amd proc because lot of my friends got problem with amd proc even with different brand (overheat problem).

thank you. hope someone would like to give some suggestion.

Realtek High Definition Audio problem

Hello...yesterday my sound cards is not working. When I boot to my windows I got a message sounds like "there are no compatible sound cards to be use. Please add a sound card"

Actually I've accidentally switch off my laptop power adapter because I thought I've put a battery on it.

Then when I boot I got those message. The problem is, sometimes my audio device is working well and sometimes it don't. I mean after restart my windows, sometime its work, sometimes it don't.

When I checked at device manager, there is no Realtek High Definition Audio in the list. So, I just reinstall my audio driver but it shows yellow mark on that driver in the list. When I click the properties, it says "This device cannot start. (Code 10)".

I've tried google my problem to find a solution but it does not work.

I hope someone has an answer here...

My laptop : acer aspire 4520
amd turion 64x2 TL-58 (1.9 Ghz, 2x512 KB L2 Cache)
