Hey guys,

Bought an X70 Premium back in late December 2019 just before the COVID situation.

Now - the car is mostly at home as I’m working from home and only required to go out on certain days / events. Been having some thoughts whether should I sell it off as I’m not driving it as much / to get smaller car instead with lower repayment commitment.

Am mostly alone and only weekend with my partner which is only going around the city.

I am in no need to sell the car but it’s just a thought I’m having now.

Also I do miss the small car occasionally as its a lower commitment for parking space / FC / general maintenance)
That being said, the comfort of X70 is awesome where driving it is a joy.

Would love to hear your thought / feedback.

Recommend Shop for Brakes (Myvi)

Dear all,

I am searching for a recommended (honest) workshop where I can go to have a look at my brakes (eventually other stuffs if they are good).

It's a 2016 Myvi SE (about 1 year old) and there's already screeching when I step on the brakes (no rain) and it's definitely something I need to look into. Went to service a few times and they kept telling me the brakes are good etc etc.

Understand there's a lot of dishonest workshops around - would be great if all sifus can recommend some that I can go visit at ease.

Checking - Water Heater Hot Water Fuse

Hey all,

Just wanna check if the behaviour is normal as I'm getting mixed response for it. The switch you turn on before you shower to get hot water - I usually turn off after shower but one night I've forgotten about it...in the morning I found the fuse actually tripped. When I turn the fuse back up, hot waters are back as normal.

I also tested the machine's ELCB and it's all working fine, all lights are green on the water heater display.

What I wanna check is it normal to trip? Or it really depends on the electrical setup of the building? What is normal as I'm getting mixed response.

Possible scenario for the fuse to trip:
1. Even without water coming out from the machine, the machine is active and when there's a sudden power surge, it'll trip.
2. The configuration of the electrical system in the particular building is designed as such, to trip if certain fuses (like hot water) are turned on for an extended period of time. 3. Or the fuse gets too hot because even without showering, the machine is still drawing power/electricity.

please advise.

I know the Logitech Anywhere Mouse is great as it works on whatever surface but it's too expensive for work. Need sifus recommendation for cheaper alternatives... preferably those that can work on any surface.

Unfair Towing by MPPJ

As per titled, my car was towed away for parking (yes it is my fault and I was willing to pay the fine and I have paid the fine without arguing).
My problem was that I parked on the stretch (without blocking any cars / obstructing traffic), along with 7 ~ 8 others car like BMW, MB and more but only mine was towed.

I went on to ask the officer why is the case and yet the officer did not give me a firm answer but rather, he said "I only process what my guys towed back for me" which I think is a really bad answer.

Is there anything I can do to make this known to the authorities?

P/S: there were even 3 cars that were parked just outside their center (and there was a big TOWING SIGN next to it) but yet they were completely untouched!
