Monitor Recommendation

Hi,

I was planning to get the LG 29 inch 29Wk600 but then I came across ViewSonic 32inch VX3276-2k-mhd.

VX3276 is bigger in every aspect but cost RM250 more at RM1k. Is it worth the extra money?

I'm currently using a 23 inch monitor. I don't do gaming and don't plan to watch movies on it but my work does require me to open several softwares/window at the same time. The monitor will be connected to my laptop.

Any advice is much appreciated.

[WTH] Focus Group Discussion for Mobile App

We are looking for college students to participate in our focus group at our Bukit Jalil office. The discussion will be on a mobile app that we plan to develop. The discussion will take no more than 3 hours. Each group will have between 4-6 participants. Each participant will be paid RM50 at the end of the discussion. Dlink DSL-2730E and Filezilla

HI all,

I recently changed my house modem to Dlink DSL-2730E and my Filezilla cannot connect to my hosting anymore. Filezilla still works at my office though.

In Filezilla, I get this error:
Status: Connection attempt failed with "ENETUNREACH - Network unreachable".

Please help.

Help with CCTV system and dlink DIR-300

Personal equipment
Modem: TMNet Billion
Router: DLINK DIR-300 (Firmware v1.4)
Firewall used: Not sure

I've a cctv installed at my office and am using DLINK DIR-300 router. When someone goes online at the office, I can view the cctv from my home. But when nobody is online at the office, I will not be able to view the cctv. The router and modem is turned on 24hours a day.

I talked to my cctv guy and he said the Dlink router is giving problem because of DDNS not working correctly. He offered to sell me a modem and router set for a sum I don't agree to. He said Dlink always give this problem. Well, he should have advised me not to get dlink when I told him I'm gonna get the router myself.

Anyway, I would like to know if there is anyway to solve the DDNS problem. DDNS is enabled and he uses DynDns.Org. He gave me a website to login to see the cctv. Can I change the DynDns.org to something else like www.DLinkDDNS.com without having to change the website for viewing the cctv??

I hope to do this without the cctv guy's involvement if possible. He charge me even for telephone support. Very fed-up with his attitude.
