Train only 1 side of the body!

Yeap, bodybuilding for only 1 side of the body only, either left or right. Is it even possible?

After watching Lady in the Water by M. Night Syahmalan, WTF.. anyway, there's a guy/freak who trained/builds one side of his body, one half looks like an average Joe's body, the other was buffed. So he's kinda a freak of nature who "experiments" such thing on himself.

What do you think? My friend said its not possible to do so, cause even if you train one half of your body, the other half will automatically adapt to the size and whatnot.. so I'm not sure if he's even right.

-edit-

Still heartbroken...

Last year we broke up, we decided to call it off, going our separate ways by choice and distance. We remained friends and were very tired of another relationship for the time being. Maybe we put too much on our relationship last time..

Anyway, I was happily single now and took my work and leisure times more seriously, even started to go to gym to improve myself, also to make myself busy...

And almost always without fail there will be somebody who asks "Hey, you've got a girlfriend?" and I would reply "Yeah, but we broke up." When they pressed about the matter, I found myself reflecting the past and it felt really bad, to the point I'm holding back the memories and my tears trying not to think about it.

Nothing went wrong, we just decided to call it quits cause she's going somewhere far.

I thought I'm through with it.. maybe its just me missing those times when we're so, so happy.

Specific thread to combat body odor (B/O)!

Yo, I'm back with a new topic. Body odor! Yes, I've searched the threads but nothing comes close to tackle such problems in a single thread head on.

How many of you are suffering/embraced you own smelly body odor? To certain people, they may not know of it until a friend or somebody tells them about it, which can be very embarrassing.

Do you choke on the smell of a certain somebody in the cinema, gym, your workplace or even at home?

How do you tell or approach your friend and tell him about his odor condition without embarrassing them and/or ourselves.

Using liquid soap products like Antabax, Protex and etc.. antiperspirants as well and none seem to work?

So how do we combat this B/O anxiety? Please share you experiences and tips here.

[addedon]February 19, 2009, 3:11 pm[/addedon]Personally, I don't suffer from such conditions. But I used Antabax liquid soap. Why? Because its really refreshing and keeps you feeling great throughout the day after work or gym. Also because I got 6 bottles for free after completing the commercial for Antabax last year. ROFL..

I would recommend such anti-bacterial soap for those people with such problems.

Another thing.. I have a buddy/mentor in the gym who often helps me out. What bothers me is that he had kinda bad B/O, usually after his workouts or so.

Problem: I do not think I dare to tell him that, cause he might already know about it or I may sound like I'm complaining since nobody complained or dare not to say so to offend him. What do you think I should do? Just suck it up and train? Cause if I don't do anything soon, I'll be training with him quite often starting next month.

Maybe I should just give him my free Antabax.. "Here, I got loads of these from the office! Everbody's getting freebies. Enjoy!"

Potatoes and complex carbs.

First of all rice and potatoes are good, scratch that.. are extremely good for your active lifestyle, especially bodybuilding and weight gaining so says some friends of mine.

So, how are we supposed to prepare them?
We could boil it for 30-45 minutes and just eat it like that and suffer "prison" quality food or bake them in the oven, slice them open and add sour cream and chives on it. There are millions of ways to do it.
Hope you guys can come up with some interesting or original methods.

I found that adding 'Prego' brand prepared sauces and cheese on it makes the potatoes taste fairly good. Like eating pasta or at IKEA.

Wendy's baked potatoes are great as well but is it healthy?

Aggression behaviour/tendency

I'm talking about positive aggression and nothing related to steroid taking negative aggression.

I observed a tendency of aggressive behavior while lifting heavy. I guess its normal when you exert yourself beyond normal circumstances, but is it normal for it to last for several hours/even days after?

I tend to get angered more usual than normal now, which is in contrary to my mild mannered nature before I started my intensive program. I'm afraid this will tend to worsen as time goes by.

I'm sure others may have this issue.

Well, I'm still me inside or at least I feel ok. I still laughed like crazy when I watch Yes Man and do normal stuff... for now..

Growing too fast!

Its been a month since I started bulking up and training heavy. The results were noticeable to the point that my friends and some colleagues said that I might be taking high quantities of steroids. God, I hate that so much. Its like being stereotyped into the negative side of BB or something like that.

I told them I got my nutrition plans and info on how to bulk up and such from the people at EGOnutritions.com, LYN forum and multiple health and fitness websites.

All i get was the *meh* yah lah ya lah and LOLs. I think they never seen ppl gain weight b4 in their lives. Ignorant...

You get this kind of treatment before?
Breakfast + Weight Gainer/Whey = ?

I usually have Japanese ramen/noodles + 2 eggs and assorted seaweed/sausage/cheese then gulped down a high carbo weight gainer/whey protein after that.

Is it too much? Cause I often feel bloated for lunch... I can still eat though.. chicken rice/yee mee then teatime fruits/snacks or is this feeling normal? To be bloated like this everyday?

Cause some of my friends say its normal for bulking up/ some say I have problem... need to adjust meal size etc.

Pls help clarify or give some pointers. Thank you.

I take supplements too.. and I found Glutamine makes the "full"/bloated feeling even worse after a workout.. like I wanna vomit, especially after hitting the weights hard.
