As per topic, how frequent you change your car brake fluid?
As in manual book for most new toyota is every 40k km or once in 2 years.. some of my friends change it every year, some change it every 20k km..

Landsail LS388

hello to all lowyat.net forumer..

recently just purchase a pair of Landsail LS388 size 205/50/16 at rm180/pc for my Toyota Sienta which originally come with Bridgestone Turanza ER33 size 195/50/16..
i actually want to search tyre that silent and good while raining.. dry grip average consider good enough for me as this is for family usage..
did ask Michelin PS4 with size 205/50/16 is around rm360/pc, seriously out of my budget.. all price mentioned here not included GST

next one is Goodyear Assurance Tripplemax with size 195/50/16 (same with original) at rm195, what the sales assistant told about this tyre is the rubber will peel off, i did experience this with Michelin XM2 and Pirelli Scorpion Verde All Season, and he did mention some other model tyre too.. this will make the worn process a bit faster due to peel off effect.. from what i know this tyre also good while raining and silent too..

next is Hankook Kinergy EX, this one consider cheapest in the lot.. size 195/50/16 price tag at rm170/pc, the advisor also didnt recommended me this tyre if wanna use for family.. its the hardest rubber and while raining not very good..

next one is Toyo Nano Energy 3.. price at rm255 with size 205/50/16
this model consider entry level for Toyo brand that for economical passenger car.. but the thing is, its price are bit extra while nothing extra from the tyre itself.. the SA also not so much into this model as the explanation not so much about it..

another one is Hankook V2 Concept with size 205/50/16 price at rm210/pc
i didnt interested with its V shape thread and its not for silent purpose.. its quite an ok tyre for most car but for heavy car like Toyota Sienta which its weight at 1300kg, so its not quite suitable.. but for sedan car like vios, city and bezza maybe its thick all the requirements..

another recommended by sales advisor is Nexen N5000 Plus with size 205/50/16 at rm210/pc too..
this one he mentioned this is rather silent tyre..

next is Achiles ATR Sport 2, price at rm175 with size 205/50/16
the advisor did mentioned that this model a bit more silent compare its predecessor.. so maybe its not that silent, and mostly this model being use if people upgrade rim size and wanna use average performance tyre with good value..

lastly is Landsail LS388 with price tag rm180/pc size 205/50/16
the SA promote this one too, but its kinda last model he suggested to me.. its silent tyre too but still he mentioned that Nexen N5000 plus a bit better..

so i end up with Landsail LS388..

Hello all,
as per title, is it i need to uninstall the previous driver before install a new graphic card? even it is still the same Nvidia..
my situation is like this
i wanna upgrade my gpu, so i sell 1st my current gpu without uninstall the gpu driver (asus gtx560).. then i buy another gpu (asus gtx670), after plug it in n start the cpu its started ok until it went blank after windows 8 symbol n my monitor seem cant detect the gpu anymore, it restart by it self n automatic went to windows recovery..
my cpu spec is
- windows 8.1 64bit
- AMD Phenom II 1075T
- 4x 4gb DDR3
- 128Gb SSD Sandisk + 3Tb WD green + 2 x 2Tb WD green
- Cooler Master Silent Pro 720watt
- Asus M5A97 motherboard
- Creative sound card
- PCI wifi card

Dust issue

hello n assalamualaikum to all..
here i would like to ask, why is it my casing still have a lot of dust?
eventho i'm using Xigmatek Utgard which has whole front fitted with dust filter, psu inlet air also got dust filter, and for top of it has grill mesh n i put 2 x 140mm aerocool shark, front intake i put 2 x 120mm aerocool shark fan, and rear 1 x 120mm aerocool shark fan..

could be dust entered from top? got 2 x 140mm fan there for outlet, not possible right?
i need to clean my whole cpu every month, or perhaps my house have a lot of dust (apartment at 20th floor near highway) ?

hope u guys can help me out here..

currently in dilemma wanna buy hd7850 or other nvidia card..
already use ATi card since X1950gt - hd3850 - hd5750 - hd6850 - ?
only use nvidia once which is 7600gt.. budget around rm800+, already sold my hd6850 (but still not send due to diff bank money transfer)

hello, just wanna ask all sifu's here..
i want to build mini-itx setup, so far i have found casing (CFI-A2509 MINI-ITX SFF CASE or Lian Li PC Q-07) 2ndhand, mobo not sure gonna use APU or intel coz very tight budget, ram no problem, hdd oredy got (1tb WD black), n psu CM extreme 460watt more then enough right? budget below rm1k

hello to all..
i got prob here so maybe someone out there can help me, straight to the point, i used all below item:
- amd athlon II x2 255
- ecs a785gm-m7 (am3 mobo)
- 2gb team elite ddr3 1333mhz
- CM 430watt psu and another one aopen 400watt psu

when turn on, the cpu fan n psu fan only run for a while n dead , i try many2 times also still da same.. inside casing or outside casing, 2 psu being used, etc la.. felt tired then ask here.. anyone can help me?

this is my 2nd mobo buy new from linloong which the 1st one oredy send to him back... i need to finish it asap if not i will need to tear down my own system (which i need to prevent it from happen, or its the last resort la) n use my mobo then..

p/s: by hook or by crook i need to finish this setup b4 this friday..

Details of the complaint : sold me a faulty mobo,
1st i thought only on-board graphic faulty, then after run with graphic card also CANT ON AT ALL.. i test with item below
- aopen 400watt and CM 430watt (either one to test it)
- kingston 2gb ddr2 value ram (test on my rig below, ok)
- MSI 9600gt and mobo on-board graphic (the gc also using it b4 at my rig below)
- acer x193w LCD..
- AMD Athlon II X2 255 (which i double check not support) and AMD Athlon X2 5200 (which is supported n just buy it today at 10am)

he claim his mobo am3 ready, but its not..
i run it many2 times, i also even assemble all of it without using casing... still nothing.. later i pm him ask for refund at 10/12/2010 bcoz his item faulty, but until today still no reply.. i do this cpu only for kids 5-8 years old (which is my cousin), please i dont to drag this small thing

please, i just want to use running condition mobo, no need to do this to me blurminded... i asking nicely to settle this by refund me rm100.. i want to get the cpu done asap.. that's all i asking, just refund me.. i got no more budget to buy another mobo to finish this cpu...

the last date he reply via pm is 9/12 as below.. after that he silence until today, i need to finish this cpu asap... he sent the item at friday, monday the courier reach my house, i wasn't at my house, tuesday is public holiday then i collect his mobo at wednesday, 9/12 thursday i complain to him the mobo cant start at all, he reply a few times at 9/12 where i n him discuss about wht proc,ram,spu etc..
