            <title>EPF enquiry</title>

            <description>Morning all sifu, &lt;br /&gt;I tried to find the same topic but couldnt find any.&lt;br /&gt;Just a quick question.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I recently work in a new company where we dont get paid of basic salary but only fully Commission base.&lt;br /&gt;And I am aware of the company is not paying EPF to me, and other workers on the same line as well.&lt;br /&gt;My Q is, even part timer will get EPF from employers, how come my company can not contribute that for us?&lt;br /&gt;With what situation that my employers can ignore our EPF legally? Is there any?</description>

            <title>Question on annual leave repayment</title>

            <description>hi there all sifu,&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I have a Q on behalf of my friend.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;My friend tender her resignation on 23/8, which she need to provide 2 months notice in advance, by right she will have to work until 23/10.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;But my friend only want to work until 30/9. She don&amp;#39;t wish to work with the company anymore from 1/10 - 23/10.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The Q is, my friend still have 20-21 days of Annual Leave from the company, and her working days is only 5 days / week, how much suppose my friend get from the company if she leave on 30/9?&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Is it the 20-21 days ANNUAL LEAVE x (Her daily salary)?&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Because she actually has an argument, she is thinking that since she has 20+ days of AL, she might apply leave on 3/10-7/10 (5 days) + 10/10-14/10 (5 days) + 17/10-20/10 (4 days leave) total 14 days of AL applied.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;And she go back to work on 21/10 (Friday)&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;So will she get 20 days AL minus 14 days AL applied = 7 days left?&lt;br /&gt;And the pay for 3 weeks? From 1/10 - 23/10?&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;This is not possible right?</description>

            <title>Can I leave my company?</title>

            <description>Hi there all sifus, I got a Q here on my current company.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Ok, here is my problem, last year, I planned to leave after giving 2 months notice, and my boss, so &amp;quot;KIND&amp;quot; to offer me an increment, which I think its reasonable, but then the fact is not, because after the increment, they try to postpone the recruitment plan, where the time we&amp;#39;re already short of like 3-4 staffs, that is not important anymore now.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;My Q is, the time they offer me an increment, they actually stated a few terms in the Salary Adjustment letter.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Here are the contents....&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;xx August 2010&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Mr XXX&lt;br /&gt;Present&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Dear Sir/Madam:&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;We are pleased to advise you that the Company has approved a salary adjustment of RMxxx ti bring your base salary to RMxxx with effect from 1st October 2010.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;We are delighted to offer you the position of xxx and are certain that you will be pleased with the benefits of the possible.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;It is a great honor to be the xxx; however not everyone is selected will choose move to this level.             <description>hi all, &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;my emails in my outlook express GONE ALL yesterday, when the Outlook Express is hang there, and I reset my PC&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;after restart, and when I re-open my Outlook Express, my Inbox turns WHITE / BLANK / EMPTY only &lt;!--emo&amp;:(--&gt;&lt;img src='http://static.lowyat.net/style_emoticons/default/sad.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='sad.gif' /&gt;&lt;!--endemo--&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;this is not good, becasue inside my inbox folders, there are mails from 1/10/2010 - 5/1/2011 which I&amp;#39;ve not move to other folders,&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;just thinking that any way I can retrieve those emails?&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Any recommended software to do so? and what is the success rate?</description>

            <description>hello there, not sure if this is the right place I ask, if its a wrong section, mod please move it.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I am working in a media monitor company now, me and all my colleagues work 6 days/week, and 7 hours/day.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;recently my HR manager said company plans to reduce the working day to 5-working day / week.&lt;br /&gt;so it does make sense if our daily working hour to be increased,&lt;br /&gt;previously we work 6 days x 7 hours = 42 hours / week&lt;br /&gt;so if its 5 days, I predicts it would be 5 days x 8.5 hours = 42.5 hours / week&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;so here is my question, according to my HR manager, our current annual leave is around 13-14 days,&lt;br /&gt;but once the 5-working day system implemented, she claimed that our annual leave will be reduced down to 8-9 days only.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Is this right?&lt;br /&gt;hope some people in Admin / HR may enlighten me.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Thanks &amp;amp; regards,&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;</description>

            <title>HDD Dead?</title>

            <description>hello all sifus there, recently I got some problem with my HDD.&lt;br /&gt;I got 2 HDD, which is 1 80gb and 120gb.&lt;br /&gt;recently, the 120gb dont know why cant work in windows, this means I can detect the 120gb in BIOS, but when I logon to windows, I cant see any partition for that particular 120gb HDD.&lt;br /&gt;any pros there know whats the problem? perhaps the HDD is dead?&lt;br /&gt;any comment is appreciate &lt;!--emo&amp;;)--&gt;&lt;img src='http://static.lowyat.net/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wink.gif' /&gt;&lt;!--endemo--&gt;</description>
