Nothing special on the chicken, they used same hot n spicy one

The dipping sauce, however, was so-so but after few dips, i realised that the taste is basically the same as (cheap) thousand island sauce.

Not worthy if you ask me.

enquiry about acer warranty

so i think it's faster to ask here rather than mobile computing forum, and can't call Acer since office hour has ended

my 8-months old acer aspire 5 has a broken USB port, idk maybe from wear and tear because you can't insert the usb into the port anymore (one of the part moved, thus it no longer fit)

so if i send it for warranty, will they charge me? if yes, roughly how much?

i'm on normal warranty (3 years), not under supercare blahblah on site blahblah

I'm using cheap LG LCD tv with USB input, but the codec support and features are limited (can't choose embedded subs or multi audio)

Good enough to read from external HD

Acer Aspire 5 Random Shutdown

So, few weeks ago, I bought a new Aspire 5 (A515-51G-59Z0).

The annoying problem is, I can't run the laptop on battery power alone, as it will shutdown randomly.

Not only on heavy task, sometimes I just use it for typing or watching movies, then it will suddenly died.

When I reboot the laptop later on, it seems like the system is having "soft reset", all the settings applied before the sudden shutdown will be reverted to its original state.
(example : muted volume will be full volume)

Sent it to Acer service center, they claimed to have updated the BIOS, but the problem persists just after my first boot when I brought the laptop home.

The problem will only occur when the laptop runs on battery, not on AC power.

So, any halp?

So I saw that this phone is selling for RM699 rather than RM999 original RRP, is this phone good for daily usage?
(Whatsapp, Twitter, Reddit, occasional photo snapping)

I understand that the memory is only 16gb, but as long as it's expandable, shouldn't be a problem.

Was considering Xiaomi, but I'm afraid of potato camera quality in its lower-end phones.
