Wireless Network error

Hi everyone...

I just encounter this problem today..

i have a laptop but my laptop cannot detect wireless network routers(there are 2 of it,) which is situated just 5 meters from my house. suprisingly, it can detect and connect to the router that is situated about 50 meters from my house (that is how i get connected now).
What really happen?
before, my laptop can detect all the wireless network, but it suddenly went wrong.

i try to open my old desktop and it can detect all the network. same goes to my freiend laptop.
i checked all th setting, and its the same (using proxy server, so only ip adress if different)

if the network card went wrong, why it still can detected network?
or maybe the admin had block my ip, no, i try to swap my ip adres with my friend, yet his laptop still manages to detect all the wireless network aired..

help me

you know waht, i'm using compaq(wireles b,g), and one of my friends who using compaq(wireless b,g,n) also encounter same problem.

friend who using HP can detect and connect the network.
the network is very good (4 bar out of 5) and he got 54mbps
i got nothing, lol, help

now, its all gone, not even a single network detected

Well, i just wanna ask u guys, in ur point of view, where is the best repair shop in lowyat..
i repair my laptop(change the keyboard) in apax (or apaq??) and it cost me rm120.

dun know whether its cheap or not but its fast(just a few screws lol))and friendly...

and i would like some suggestions, bout this... where is the best place to repar pc/laptop ...

as i'm very new to lowyat, i wanna ask some question,
hope u guys can answer it for me asap
really need to know your review and opinion

1.ext hdd
-i wanna buy ext hdd but dunno what brand to head for, i'm looking for a 2.5" or smaller, with 500gb or bigger
my budget is around rm400(maybe can extend it to rm450)
my fren say wd passport, some say seagate etc . need your opinion please, tak nak menyesal di kemudian hari

2.mouse
- want mouse that is small(fit in hand), for normal use mainly(+ basic gaming like cs, dotta, nfs, fifa)
just yg cikai2 je, price around rm50

3.headphone
-i found lot of store sell headphone range from rm30 to rm60, but i dont trust it brand. so, mybe u can suggest a gempak-sound-quality headphone that cost around rm100-150

also wanna buy heatsink fan for laptop, any recomenddation??

p/s: 1.sorry for asking so many question, but i really need to know what is the best that suite for me.i hav already read review from internet, but still cannot make my mind.need to ask the pro like u guys,plz respond

2. i dunno know about this, but my fren say that near lowyyat plaza, there is imbi plaza that sell cheaper pc accesories, is it correct??
