Hye Everyone,

I just wanna know regarding the job scope/process of the small boutique corporate finance/management consulting firm in Malaysia. Are they just follow what clients said?

Why i'm asking this questing bcoz, if you see the consulting biz in malaysia, their balls is in the clients hands, they really depends on the clients to get the biz. In addition, the whole job scope such as corporate advisory, raising fund, project finance, small M&A and etc can be done by clients in house team themselves. They cant be rude to clients saying that their biz is bad, have a lot of risk, otherwise their clients will go away. What i had shared with my ex-colleagues is that the clients actually depends on them just for their (Small boutique) network and need them to do some paper (pitching or marketing their biz - must be optimistics), and no critical questioning on risk of the biz. So, is this true?

Please dont compare with big IB as their capability of being an advisor is provable.

Could anyone explain, does government servants marketable? I mean if they want to shift to private...

Private co. fresh currently about 2.4k++ , in 2yrs time the expected salary would be 3k. want to shift to another co. (Co.A)

Govt 2.7k++, in 2 yrs time their expected slary might be 3k... and they want to shift to private co. (Co.A)

Which candidate the employer in private co. will choose?

If the govt salary is higher and alot of benefit, why people still choose private co.?

Can anyone in RHB clarify something to me..

I have been to the interview on beginning of this year..

I call them 3 weeks after interview yet they said they still processing my applivation..

Now, already 2 months after the interview, i still haven't got any response from them..

Am i need to call them again? or just wait and wait coz i understand the economy are in recovery form, so i dont mind they still hold my application... I am also not in rush to the job coz i'm still working but i just need an answer from them..

Hye everyone, i need opinions regarding the ACCA membership/Chartered accountant.

Ok, i need to know if i got this title, But if i gained it from 3 years experience in Small firm, am i marketable when i want to jump to a large MNC corporation..

and if i get a chance to join MNC corporation after gaining the CA/ACCA wit 3yrs in Small firm, do i have to start from scratch, i mean from executive positions?

and how about a 3 years experince in small private advisory co.?
