How to price this service?

Hi,

How do you price a booklet design service?

It's 46 pages long (at least with only copy & no pictures yet - including front & back covers) and already has copy written, so I only need to design the layout. It's due in 3 weeks' time and the booklet is to promote an expo. I've read some online articles where some designers advise on pricing according to the number of pages.

What about you?

PS: I used to be a freelance designer, but after being ill I had to stop for many years.. now only restarting to design again.

Running tracks

Hi guys,

I'm wondering if there's any running tracks around Putrajaya area that are open for public use.. I mean, the ones where the tracks have labels like 400m, 800m etc. I know there's universities like UPM & MMU (which are located outside of Putrajaya but very near) that have running tracks for their students.. but are they open to the public also? I have speed training coming up in my NIKE training program. Really hope can train on a track..

[WTA] External DVD drive for Mac

So I have the same problem as another forumer here where my DVD drive doesn't work anymore (it simply spits out any CDs inserted). I've already sent it for repair 2 years ago, and now the same problem is occurring so I'm thinking of getting an external DVD drive instead of repairing since it'll cost less.

I'm aware of Apple's Superdrive, but it's so expensive and is not in my budget range. I'm aiming for RM 150 or less. Can anyone please advise me on which model/brand to buy? I'm thinking of going to Lowyat next week.

Just for your info, here's my Macbook specs:

Anyone knows if Maxis or Celcom broadband is available in Trengganu? I'm going there for a week next month and I need a good broadband internet.

And just out of curiosity, is there a broadband package where we don't have to pay monthly fees? I'll probably use it for a week or so only, so it'll be a waste of money if I need to pay for it monthly even though I don't use it.

Please recommend me of a good one, I'm not very knowledgeable in broadband.
