Hey sifus, i nid help in giving myself more choices to buy a 12"-13" notebook..yesterday i went to survey in LYP already but onli found that Compaq CQ20 and CQ35 meets my requirements. I wan to have more choice n not restricted to tis 2 onli.

Firstly, i wan sumting in tis size bcoz its lighter and easier to mobile with as I will be bringin it out with me much of the time.

Next, I m not a heavy user, just using it for msn chatting, emails, MS office, web surfing, buring alot songs in CD. I dun game, mayb jz sum internet game but not those online type of gaming and mayb sum mvies once in a while..So, i suppos i dun nid a dedicated graphic card.

So to summarize up, i tink i nid sumting like below:
- 12"-13"
- If possible, 3yrs warranty as my previous HP LCD burn out in 2 yrs time
- as light as possible
- Intel processor with 2.0gHz and above (T6400 or above)
- Budget: RM3k or below inclusive of everything.

Hope u ppls could provide me more choice as i dun wana be limited to tis 2 same outlook model. Do let me noe the model as well even if its above my budget range, i could change my mind for it ^.^

All prices are before negotiation. The Toshiba model I might be able to get it at about RM 2905 as I know someone selling it.

Why do Toshiba model has Centrino Technology with the same processor as Asus' but Asus cannot be said that it has centrino tech? What's the difference with the same processor but with and without the centrino technology?

Dell notebook

Hey,

I'm interested with the Dell Studio 1555.
Since the price hike, i might as well wait for the PC fair to see if any of the booth sells cheaper den current price (RM 3199) of below RM3k if possible..

This fri 4/4/09 will be the starting of PC fair at other states den KL, will Dell do their promotions online this Friday?
If yes, will the same promo coming out for next week?(nx week pc fair at kl)
Bcoz if the promo is da same den i will noe wat price and freebies to expect if i order from DELL online site asap.

Bcoz i wana get the backlit keyboard but most probly i cant get it if i buy from booth as they are all pre-built laptop while Dell's site offer customization.

Comments from anyone experience or monitor Dell last yr PC fair's promotions before will help alot, others is free to give advise too.
