Q: shld upgrade to E & E engineering Degree?

i'm asking for my boyfred, he always feels that Degree will enhance his career path (he's considered as an RF engineer now, as title given by the company). he's thinking about taking up a Bachelor of Engineering (HONS) in Electronic & Electrical Engineering in Segi College, an offshoure course from University of Sunderland, UK.

compared to KDU which also offer a course, the tuition fee is a lot more diffeRent. in Segi, it is about 21k-22k, with duration of 1 year, 2 days a week. whereas in KDU, 30k-40k, with duration 3 to 4 years, 3 days a week. however, the one offered by Segi isn't recognised by Malaysia government due to the rapid progression of the course(timespan is only 1 year!)

i'm neutral on this thingy, to me, he's definitely not gonna work in govt sector. what i really concern is the quality of the course, how's the graduates of the school doing now, are they regconised by companies...

any idea?
