Hello...

My PC suddenly shut down after i left it idle for around 3 hours this afternoon...
after it shut down... i didnt turn on because i not using anymore...

1 hours ago, when i try to switch on, the fan and led light on for 1 sec then it switched off again...
then i try to push the power button again... nothing happen...
i thought was power plug loose or what... i checked all the connection but still cant switch on...

So i dissembled the PC and maybe checked for loose connection... i cleaned the RAM GC harddisc...
I try again still no luck...
I disconnect the GC and DVD drive... and i try to switch on...
The problem still exist but after 1 sec (fan and light switch off) the PSU fan still spinning...

**I didnt smell any burnt smell or noticed any burnt marks and burst capacitor on my PSU and motherboard...

I would like to ask it is my motherboard died or PSU problem ?

My spec:
i5 2500
Asrock H61M-S
GTX560ti
Enermax NANX 600W

Modem router and repeater

Hi everyone,

I bought a new modem router which is TP-link TD-W8960N to replace my original TM unifi DIR-615..
I configure the router according to http://klseet.com/index.php?option=com_con...=87&Itemid=82...
now my internet and iptv is working...

the modem router is in my room which is downstairs and my sister room which is upstairs receive only one bar of the signal...
so i bought another access point TL-WA901ND to put on up stair which the wifi signal is around 4 bar...

I setup the access point according to the setup guide and i set it as a repeater...
After reboot, the signal of the wifi in my sister room is still the same...
the SSID become one instead of two ( besides this got two which is the router SSID and TP-XXXX from access point)..
and it seem like the repeater is not working...

I would like to ask am i did something wrong during configuration or the access point is faulty... ?
Please help .

This is my question...
Do part-time staff in our country have any rights ？
or any benefits like double-salary on public holidays... ?

Actually i faced a problem here...
I worked for a company as part-time staff on saturday and sunday...
my salary is RM60 per day...
last time...
i have double-paid on public holidays...
but now they says no more...
because my salary is too high...
they owe me 2 days... 1 was in January and 1 is in May...
I was like WTF...
BTW this what my supervisor told me...
and i will receive my salary tomorrow which will give by the accountant...

need help...
Do i have any chance to "rebate" or just silence...
I am ready to "rebate" with them and prepare to resign...

* 3 public holiday including today...

Graphic Card Problem ?

Hello... all lowyat sifu...
I faced a problem here...
hope you guys can help me...

Last week, as usual, i turn on my computer (desktop)...i was waiting PC to load and enter the window...
suddenly the screen just freeze when it is loading (before entering the login page)... i am using Window XP...
then i thought the window files is corrupted... so i format my PC and installed window 7 on it...
During the installation... no problem occurred except it is stuck again in the last process which is "Completing installation" or something like that...
then i try to load into the window and the same problem happened again like before i formatted my PC...
I tried with both 32-bit and 64-bit window 7 (not genuine)...
After that i reformat and install window XP... the installation is completed...
and i managed to get into the windows...
as what we do... i install all the drivers first...
motherboard first then graphic card...
After completed the installation for motherboard driver...
i restart and managed to get into window...
then when i install driver for graphic card and restart...
the problem happened again as previous...

At this moment i do not have second graphic card so i cannot test...
besides, when i connect through my integrated graphic card... my monitor showed "No input detected"

This is my rig spec...
Pentium D 805
Gigabyte 8I945GZME-RH
2x 1GB KVR667
7300 LE
80GB Samsung

Please Help....

The story is like this

Year 2008
The girl and I was friend during secondary time. At school, we did not talk very often as we are not in the same class and thus mostly we say HI only when we met each others. That time she is in a relationship with a boy. After that, both of us is graduated and of course I never contact her again.

March/April 2009
One day in March I received a message from her inviting me to go movie with her. I don’t know where she gets my number. I accepted her invitation. I thought some of my friends will go too as my friends knew her also. But on that day, I was surprised that only 2 of us. Of course I not care and I just watch the movie together with her. The following few months we 2 always hang out and watch movie together. After that, my friend told me that she is broke with her boyfriend in January. I was surprised because she never told me about that. That time I realize she just need someone to accompany her during the last 2 month.

May/June/July 2009
We never hang out together or sms or call each others. Sometimes she did followed my friends come out yam cha together and we 2 just chat like normal. At this time I started to have some good feeling toward her. So I decided to court her. Like what others do, I did sms her everyday but her reply was short and sometimes even not replied me. I have tried to ask her out but this time she always asks her friends to accompany her go out together. (I knew all her good friends (girls) quite well). The chances that she will go out with me alone are very low.

September/October/November 2009
One of my friends has organized a trip to PD and both of us join the trip too. After the trip I realize I really like her very much. However, at that time, I always heard she talked about a guy in her college and I am sure that she likes that guy from the conversation between her and her friends. I am jealous and somehow maybe angry. So I decided to confess with her. In one day, I managed to found a reason to ask her out and I have confessed with her. She just remains silence until she reached her house. I didn’t manage to get an answer from her. So the following two week, I sms her everyday and I never get a single replied. I have tried to call her, and she never picked up the phone. After a month of staying in this situation, I decided to give up. I knew it was my fault of being to impatient.

December 2009
I never sms or call her again and I just hope we can become friend again. At this month, I managed to met her again as I follow my friends to celebrate Christmas and New Year with her gang. That time I still can have some conversation with her like “How are you recently” that kind of boring conversation.

January/February 2010
After a few months, I realize I didn’t manage to forget her. I keep thinking of her everyday although it is long time ago. But somehow I just feel like helpless as I not dare to sms or call her as now I still managed to go out with her gang sometimes. I do not want to lose anything again. During Chinese New Year, I follow her gang to hang out almost every day to go our friend’s house. After this, I fell like want to give it a try again. At this time, I did not sms her every day but 2 or 3 days once. Now she replied all my messages but each times only 4 or 5 messages. As I just want to make her feel that I am annoying. Now I am patient enough.

April/May 2010
Now I manage to date her out again for movie and dine. Just both of us. But sometimes she will bring her friends along, but I just act like I don’t mind [I have to]. Actually I don’t really care as long as I can go out with her. Now I feel that our relationship is closer as recently I did smsed her everyday and she replied. Maybe this is just my side of thought but I am happy enough.

May 2010
Next Saturday is her birthday, I am wondering what should I gave to her or I just treat her a good meal? I was planned to bring her to Jogoya as I know she like Japanese cuisine but her friends say they will bring her there on Friday and ask me to find others place. I have think of confess to her again but I feel that our relationship is not that stable yet. I do not want to get rejected again. So, can you guys help me on what should I give and also show my love to her? [not only limited to gift but some romantic restaurant also quite good] I think I will not confess on that day.

I am just a college students and I have a part-time job. I have already take leaves on next Saturday to accompany her. Besides I haven’t ask her whether she is free or not on that day.

got same budget with TS which is 1 k so which part should i upgrade first ? GC or Mobo ?

one more thing according to CPU-Z the link width on the graphic interface column some x4 while max supported is x16 is that mean my GC actually running 1/4 of the max speed ?

500GB SATA 3GB 32MB
ST56F 560W EPS
COOLER MASTER CM-690
Gigabyte 4850 512MB DDR3 Zalman / Gigabyte 9800GT (OC) Zalman 1GB

Mainly for gaming purpose~~Not extreme OC ppl~~Will OC the proc and GPu a bit

1) Which GPU should i choose since the price of these two card is only different about 20 buck ?
2) Which company should i choose for the GPU (Gigabyte Galaxy Sapphire....) budget around 600++
3) Is this PSU enough to support my rig ?
4) What is the different between EP43-DS3L and EP45-DS3R ?
5) Since the economy is getting worst now...it is possible to get this rig with RM 2k next April ?
