BSc (Honor) Mathematics & Economics is offered by NTU with the duration of 4 years in Mathematics Science category.

I make a summary about this course.
This modules are equally heavy for mathematics & economics despite the unrestricted electives.
To be graduate, have to full filled with at least 144 Academic Units (AU) and maintain at least 2.0 Cummulative Grade Point Average (CGPA).

So, just simple, what do you? and what is the possible career with this degree and all the possible selective modules & minors.

Some examples of the combination with minor will be Math&Econ minor in Information - Communication Technology , or minor in Pharmaceutical Engineering, or minor in Physics and Applied Physics or maybe even minor in music

For the major three universities in Singapore which are National University of Singapore, Nanyang Technology University and Singapore Manangement University have closed their application now and start to pick students for the coming intake. For those who have apply SG universities, please share you information here! Is doesn't matter what university you apply, as long as it is located in SG.

I'm also welcome those who applied SG universities before but currently are not studying in SG to share your reasons & opinions here!

All of your responds are greatly appreciated and hopefully helps other people too!

I prepare a set of question for you guys/gals choose to answer! If you have extra info and willing to share, it is welcome too!

Ranking of Actuarial Science in MY uni

So far, i know HELP and UTAR offer full actuarial science program. I am a A level holder. If anyone know the ranking of actuarial science in malaysia university please leave your comments here. Quite urgent! Your reply will be blessed!

Which Uni(Around MY) For Actuarial Course

I'm a malaysian and currently a A level holder with AAA in Maths, Economics and Accounting. I'm interesting to actuarial science course and going to apply NUS and NTU. Recently i also have taken IELTS with band 6.0 score. My first choice of Uni is NTU but i will hear more advises from you guys.

My first question is
Is it better for me apply now for NTU/NUS or it will be no effect on chances being accepted whether i apply early or later date(most likely end of Jan 09).

My second question is
What is the exactly academic requirements for NTU business school and NUS (Joint Degree of ANU) to enroll?

My third question is
If really so bad luck that both universities reject me, which university should i think again for actuarial science?

My fourth question is
Is my IELTS enough? should i retake another IELTS again to get higher score. My brother told me that the score (6.0) is enough and at the end NTU/NUS will still have to give me the QET (Correct me if im wrong). So at this point, is the english is only to determine you have to take the english course during uni or it also part of the requirements. Another factor that may consider to affect my chances being accept is my SPM results was done very badly ( my english got E8 in O level standard).
