Hi Sifus,

I am living outside malaysia now and thinking to get gaming laptop. I choose laptop simply because I don’t want to have a bulky pc in my living room, and it gives me the convenience of connecting to either my tv or other monitor. So it means that the laptop resolution and refresh rate wont matter to me much. Mainly for gaming only and mainly dota, but going for better specs in case i need it for future games.

Yes i know raptor lake will be released soon however dont think it will come to laptop anytime soon right? So now I have shortlisted two options, prices about the same so need advice on this. My priority is durability > performance > screen size and features > weight

I wonder where would be the best place in your opinion to get a blazer?

I heard H&M is cheaper but limited choices while G2K only sells in set. Some even said G2k is overpriced.

I only need a blazer, but I don't mind to buy a set though if the price is reasonable. If possible, I would prefer a store that offers alteration for free or with low cost.

As I am flying off on Thursday, I need to get this done in a day. Which brand and which mall you guys would recommend me to visit？

I think my budget is at around 400+ to 600+ for a set.

I want to get a Jp dub with english sub, is it supposed to be a R3 version ? I have seen some mentioned that R3 is having English dub and sub, if thats the case i might as well just get R1 right?

The guy in the shop told me that theirs is Chinese version, does it mean that it's R3 and comes with Chinese/English sub?

Hi guys,

I am using leadtek GTX760 on 27 inches 1440p monitor.

I suspect my CPU is good enough for this card. And sometimes in the middle of gaming, my FPS drop from 30+ to 10+ which i don't know why. CPU temperature seems fine at 45C. Any suggestions/thoughts?

If I run a full scan, avira would definitely ask me to move all the exe files to quarantine and end up most applications will not be usable.

Graphic card Recommendation needed

Hey guys, I have decided to buy a 27 inches 1440p monitor.

I know if I change to this new monitor, my HD4870 1gb sure tak boleh pakai anymore.

Some people recommended GTX 760 RM799, but just to confirm ya, will I experience any slow down with this card?

I play games like Starcraft 2 and some MMORPG like Blade and Soul. As you all know, it becomes laggy when there are massive amount of people gathering in same place.

So yeah, need to know if I have to top up my budget for a card better than 760 since I am upgrading monitor at the same time. I know higher budget and better card sure the game won't be laggy, but I just want to get a card which I can maximize its performance based on my usage.

My PSU is xigmatek bronze 500W, is it enough for GTX 760? and if I choose to buy a card better than 760, can i use this unit still?

AMD phenom II x 3 710
8gb ram
HD 4870 1gb
Xigmatek PSU 500W
LG 21.5" 1680x1050

I can spare about 1.5k to 2k for the upgrade. With this budget, I would like to upgrade my screen, GPU and headset

Is it upgrade prominent if i upgrade my GPU to Sapphire 7850 2GB RM599 ?

Also, which 27" monitor u guys recommend? I check out from Lowyat price list, a lot of the 27 inches are with 1920 resolution. Any better suggestions? *Note: I do not wish to get a 24 inches which doesn't make much diff from my current screen size yeah*

Besides, I think having a 120hz monitor will give better experience in movie right ? I heard the fast motions can be seen clearer at 120hz than 60hz am i right ? @_@

Lastly, I am looking for a surround headset. Originally i wanted to go for tiamat, however i do not have a dedicated soundcard yet, plus the fact that there are quite a number of negative reviews on tiamat 7.1. So what do you guys think?

How about senheisser PC 350 or Steelseries virtual surround 7.1 ?

Hey guys,

I am 23 this year and currently working in a bank for about one and half year already (my first job). Currently I am earning about average 4.5 to 5k per month for my basic + allowance (about 3.5) + commission. However, I am really unsatisfied with my current job. More specifically, I hate my bosses more than anything else. The job scope everything is fine, I can cope with it, but the bosses are a bit too much (as in, empty promises, never cared about his staff, can't lead, and too pushy) - I understand that most employees hate their bosses, but I think it's too long story to justify why I hate them. Well, just can't work with them anymore, simple as that.

I thought of leaving since two-three months ago, but I have already tried my best to convince myself to stay and adapt. However I really don't feel like continuing any further. I have not been actively sending out resume to companies and I have not found any suitable offer yet.

I believe most of you would suggest me to stay in current company and eat free salary until I get another offer. But problem is that I really hate it so much that I don't feel like staying any longer. Moreover, I am tired of cracking my head how to dig out time for interviews as my bosses are tracking our performance and activities recently. So if I quit my job straight, I can send out resume and go for interview with peace of mind

Currently I do not have any commitment like car loan or housing loan, I merely pay about 360 for my internet bills and gym every month. So currently I am thinking to just quit the job if I really feel unhappy about it since I have nothing much to worry about. After all, we don't live to work right? Happiness is important, that's what I think. But on the other hand, my customer mentioned to me that I might feel even more frustrated when I can't find a suitable job offer during my unemployment -.- so currently I am REALLY confused an in a serious dilemma.

I finished my SPM in 2007 Dec, and i started my foundation in January 2008 straight after my SPM. And I continued with my degree in January 2009 until 2012 May. One week after I finished my final exam, I straight joined this bank until now. Basically I didn't have any break in between. I feel that perhaps i should slow down my foot steps a bit? As I now feel a little bit tired of the rush @_@

So, to all sifus, can I get some advices from you all?

It suddenly turned out like this after my gaming session. And weird thing is, some icons are affected and majority not. And after reboot, some affected bcome ok and some become cacated -.-

I have both win 7 32 and 64bits. Both become like that out of sudden, restart doesn't help at all..

Need recommendation on Monitor

Hi guys, need your help in recommending monitor of 27 inches. No necessary need IPS, but of course if got any IPS value for money then I am ok also.

I watch HD movies 1080p that kind, and I am hoping to get a monitor which can give me really awesome experience for it, for example: sharp, and silky smooth when showing fast movement etc. I heard it has got smth to do with 120hz right compared to 60hz right ? BenQ 24 inch offer this but i think no HDMI. Is it actually more superior than HDMI ?

For gaming, I use it for online gaming and starcraft 2 only.

So I guess, main purpose is for movie. Thanks

the video totally nvr load, and when i used VPN, i gained full speed.

I called TM and the dude said this problem only occurs recently and they have received lots of complaints regarding this matter. she said there's no estimated date to fix this.

Is this true? if not i gonna write to skmm d ~_~

Hey guys, i just bought a new ram yesterday, it's kingston 4gb 1333.

But apparently it keeps causing me bsod when I put the voltage at around 1.6~ 1.7v

Originally when I plugged it in, the voltage setting was auto, then checksum error came out and it always hang. When it's 1.71v and above then it's working fine already. But then if too many programs running at the same time then same bsod thing happens again. I tried lowering the voltage to 1.55 and 1.5, the comp just keep hanging even in CMOS.

Anyway I can do to fix this ? btw I nvr updated my bios before.. could this be the cause?

using 64bit windows ultimate, ram 8gb 1333mhz now, PSU xigametk 600watt if not wrong.
