After the Acer thread I started recently, I tentatively decided to get Lenovo as recommended by Msacras [@Msacras] (also after watching few reviews).
But then I saw this HP desktop (RM5560) which comes with 1TB SSD compared to Lenovo’s 500GB (RM5073) in addition to better processor and graphic card (btw is the addition of “TI” in HP means better gc?) Both is sales price for 12.12. The thing is if I go with Lenovo, I planned to upgrade to 1TB which cost RM700 plus in Shopee. Then I need to install myself which I am not sure how.

So which is these two packages is best bang for buck? Additionally I would prefer a good cooling system as my room a bit warm (sometimes I don’t want to turn on aircond just for PC).

I tried looking into building my own PC as suggested by few people but it’s too complicated for me . Example, even when choosing case, I need to search each model and don’t know whether it will be suitable for the other components.
Beside these two are the best pre-built according to some....

Hi. My budget is around $RM5 to RM6K. Want spec RTX 2XXX, some SSD, PSU 500 watt or above and wifi 5 Ghz.

Also planning to get this 28” 4K monitor. I PM the seller whether can connect to the above desktop, he said can link via DP cable which i found out is a display port cable.

Najib expected to step down

PETALING JAYA: Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak will step down as Umno president.

The Umno supreme council, the party's top decision-making body, is currently holding a meeting at its headquarters at Menara Dato' Onn in Kuala Lumpur on Saturday (May 12).

Sources said that an announcement will be made during a media conference to be held after the meeting concludes.

According to media reports, Umno acting deputy president Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi, when asked before entering the meeting if Najib would be staying on as party chief, simply replied "no, he won't be staying".

Also seen were Umno youth chief Khairy Jamaluddin, Puteri Umno chief Datuk Mas Emieryati Samsudin and Umno executive secretary Datuk Seri Ab Rauf Yusoh.

Also present at the building are the Umno Wanita, Puteri and Youth exco members.

Hopefully the rumor is true. Don't mind if the price around 1.2K. Have been eyeing Acer Switch 10e (10 inch) and also Mi Pad 2 for the longest time but haven't bought it. Acer difficult to find and also the one available online is pink only huhu. While mi pad 2, no realible seller online, a lot of negative review

Bukit Beruntung full settlement

I took a loan from Citibank on Aug 1998 to finance Bukit Beruntung apartment.
The loan amount is RM41,920 with a monthly installments of around RM377.17 for
240 months. So the actual amount i have to pay alltogether plus interest is around
RM91,200. (RM380 x 240 months). I round it up to RM380 due to interest rate
changing.

I have paid around RM82,080 to date (around RM380 x 216 months).
But when i ask for a full settlement figure for tomorrow, the amount given is
RM16,892.73. I know my calculation is not exact and only base on principal but if
RM91,200 - RM82,080, the outstanding will be around RM9,120. Why the vast
difference?

Is the figure given about right or my calculation is way off?
Please someone enlighten me, thanks in advance.

Tyre change at Quick Save USJ

Just change my stock Nexen CP643A tyre at Quick Save which i use since Dec 2013. The mileage is about 29K (tyre not totally botak, can go few thousand miles more but better safe than sorry). I choose Nexen N8000 because of the good reviews. The thing is three of the tyre given is dated year 2013 (week 20) while one is year 2015. I covered 29K in about 2 years 4 months. So by my rough calculation, i estimated this tyre might last me at least 3 to 3½ years. So by then the tyre will be 6½ years old. Is that dangerous? They gave 5 years warranty. It will be troublesome to always change only three tyre and next is only one tyre. Treadwear for the new tyre is 280. What is treadwear of the stock Nexen?

Remy Ishak losses MPV

KUALA LUMPUR: Popular actor Remy Ishak lost his multi-purpose vehicle after going into a convenience store to buy ice for a sprained leg in Seri Kembangan here.

Remy, 34, was said to have parked the MPV in front of the store in Taman Bukit Serdang without locking it or switching off its engine at midnight.

Serdang police chief ACP Razimi Ahmad said the victim, who exited the convenience store six minutes later, found the MPV missing.

"A closed circuit television recording at the premise showed one of two men in a Honda car had driven off the MPV," he said in a statement.

Remy, when contacted by Bernama, said the incident took place when he was on his way home after undergoing training for the play "Cindua Mato" at Istana Budaya.

"I stopped by at the convenience store to buy ice for my leg which was swollen after I sprained it during the training. I did not expect to find my MPV stolen," said Remy who lodged a report at the Seri Kembangan police station.

How to connect old Windows XP

I subscribe to Maxis Broadband, was supllied with modem and router. Currently i'm using PC with Windows 8. But how do connect old pc with Windows XP (without wifi capabilities) to internet?

I tried connecting the big cable, donno what name, from new PC to old PC but nothing. I also noticed the "Broadband Connection" in "Network Connections" is disconnected .

Or there's no way i can connect without upgrading the old pc's hardware?
