afraid because it is a combination of 2 microsd, the defrag n scan process would make the data corrupt..

I don't know if this is the right place or not or if there is any talented VBA/Access programmers in here..if no then i am sorry..

i have to combobox in a form..unbound to anything..
combobox 1 = Name of Filter
combobox 2 = the list of the desired filter

What i did is that when the user select a filter let say Filter by Name and then he choose "Name" from combobox1, then a vba code will automatically retrieve values of field "Name" from a table into a query and that query is use as a rowsource in combobox2 to display all those values.

Everything works fine but the problem is:

if i first choose to filter by a date, let say "Start Date" and then i cancel(i created a cancel button to blank all the data in the text box etc) the process and reentered any filter name that is not a date, then i will get a warning sign "the value you entered isn't valid for this field" if i choose a value in combobox2 that is not a date..

anybody have any solution, if need anymore information to tell me..

can anyone here tell me or explain to me why my mouse can show the correct cursor?

EXP: when i want to open My computer in "Start", it will display the resizing cursor..same sometimes when want to open some files..i just formated my computer with Xp SP3 and already repair install it, update the driver, tested different mouse..

old computer with Pentium D, 2 Gb memory ...
