My landed unit at Cyberjaya is still going through some defect rectification by the developer. <br /><br />The kitchen wall that is supposed to be used for base cabinet has a depth of only 58cm (wall to door frame). I think the standard depth required for cabinetry is 60cm. I realize that all my neighbors&#39; houses have varying depth, some being 66cm and some 68cm which is sufficient enough. <br /><br />My question is,<br /><br />1) is this a defect and should the developer be liable for it. I personally like the cooling effect marble gives when standing on it. <br /><br />I have the following question :<br /><br />1)Is local marble inferior to imported ones? I read they are less porous and more environmental friendly. <br /><br />2) does the dimension of tiles make a lot of difference? Ie 2*2 2*1 1*1<br /><br />3) I find broken marbles to be beautiful despite being cheaper. I like how they are randomly cut and aligned.
