4k HDR Splitter

I just got myself a 4k projector. Source already 4k however my receiver is not. That will next round, not budget now.

Is there any proven 4k HDR splitter so i can split the source to my projector and non-4k receiver?
Got few china product claiming 4k HDR spliter etc etc.
Trust-able or not?

4k dilemma - 65" vs 75" or 4K projector

Questions.....
- Which one you would go for? a 75" UHD in-hall multipurpose astro/BD use....or a Benq entry level 4k in dedicated HT room?
- Is 75" worth the extra 6k over the 65"? viewing distance approx 10ft.
- Astro on 65" or 75" is acceptable or not?

currently using 50" pana plasma...
Looking at entry models only. My eyes not that expensive.

Upgrade on the front disc (i.e. caliper & rotor upgrade) to a stronger ones, and replacing rear drum brake to disc, will that effect the ABS system (how it works, effectiveness etc.)?

First 4k TV

Hello all,
Bought myself a 43" UHDTV. Claimed to support 4k 60hz chroma 4:4:4. Etc.

So far;
1. Connect to xbox360. Image a bit soft but getting used to it. Seating about 4ft away.
2. Connect to MS DP, no output. Probably due to DP-HDMI converter issue. SP3 suppose to support 4k output.
3. Connect via USB3 UHD adaptor using DL5500 chipset. Only support, 30Hz. Browsing etc no issue. Text so far readable.

My biggest issue, when playing video from my SP3 Using the UHD adaptor, video not smooth. Even playing merely 720P videos, not 2160p.

Any solution?

DIY tiling

I have a very small tiling job to do and not worth calling a contractor in to do. So i plan to DIY. Got few experience doing DIY but never tiling work.

My question is, is there any kind of tiling 'glue' that can be mixed, without using cement (or without the mess).
Saw few DIY program overseas using some kind of white 'glue'/cement, look very simple and very minimal mess.
Waterproof if possible.

Guide appreciated.

Just wondering....
for poorfag like me, and super-noob in investment....who would like to invest in properties.....is it still possible nowadays?
Condo NEW pricing is like 400k minimum in prime area. If i were to get and rent it out, the rental would not be enuff.
Rawang NEW landed property is now even at 400k min.
So what is people is doing now? i seriously have no idea.
Dont talk about lelong pls....just not possible for me.

Video noise + Projector

Just got myself a Optoma HD20. In general quite happy with it except for an issue.
Connected the unit to my HTPC, using ATI HD5000 series. No BD player yet...
But i'm getting blue color video noise at the black spaces. This happen if the HTPC is connected directly to the projector.
IF using extended desktop (with Dell 24" lcd), the noise getting much worse. White noise everywhere, almost constantly..

Any idea what is the problem...
1. is it my hdmi cable. The 15m cheap loyat plaza quality...heheh...[cannot wait for monoprice + no budget alredy ]
2. or is it the projector??

I have yet to start with the troubleshooting...swapping cable, using diff source, etc....but any useful idea is appreciated.

my prev tenant complained that he has to change the bulbs, and pendaflour lighting freq (it keep burning up). And once measured it and it was above 240V.
He recommended for me to install some kind of regulator/stabilizer at inlet at the input supply to the house.

Anybody has any idea whether this is normal. Any idea what is the problem? Any other possible solution?
Is such devices exist? Where do i get it? and how much it cost?
My house if fairly new....5+ yrs old probably.

Need opinions...
looking for a 7" android...with 2.2..3g...capacitive..bla bla bla...for portability...
considering
1. samsung g tab
2. ideos s7
3. csl mi700

which 1 shud i go for, but seriously considering s7....or csl coz cheaper...but not sure of its performance compared to the sammy...
dont want to spend to much coz will be getting the ipad2 too..

or final solution..spend on RM 6XX china android pad like the haipad M7...but no 3g....

just got myself the 360. Sad to say i'm using a cheapo lcd monitor at home.
So need to find hdmi -> vga/dvi converter. Need both vga & dvi since later can still use if upgraded to better lcd.
So where to get...low yat? but what shop...and what is the pricing....
