Routing to the US

Not sure what's up with the nodes I'm being routed through.

Can someone else do a traceroute to the target IP and see if you're also getting routed through the really crappy cw.net nodes? Prior to this week I was doing fine on 230+-ms but its gone batshit insane now. The packet loss on the 5th through 8th hop..

I've called Unifi Support but level 1 tech support really isn't helpful at all and they're quite stubborn when I ask for level 2.

Edit: Okay, I called a more helpful support rep. Apparently maintenance work regarding packet loss for connections going out of Malaysia. Thanks TMnet

Its still only a tech demo but this caught my eye on Neogaf. Not bad for a game made by a small team of 8 people.

In a nutshell, its a top-down ARPG made for browser reminiscent of the SNES era art.

The Singapore Gateway has been removed from the list last night in the 1.0.1c patch by GGG. They hid it without informing anyone.

To now connect to the SG gateway, you need to do it manually. Do so by typing "Singapore" in the gateway field and you should still be able to connect!

Laptop frequently hangs

Occured after I booted my laptop up and began typing a word document. The programs all become non-responsive (your typical (Not Responding)) and I still CAN tab about but the entire desktop freezes after a little bit. Task Manager doesn't show any anomalies (if I had kept it open prior to the hang) but otherwise I can't do anything other than hard reset the laptop. Now it happens all the time, even when I don't do anything. It happens when I'm playing games, happens when I leave my computer to idle, and just generally happens.

Now it hangs after I type my password in the login screen, or sometimes may get to desktop and hang there. (No HDD activity either)

I've ruled out insufficient memory as a problem since I'm running a Dell XPS M1530 (T7700, 4GB DDR2, 8600M GT)

So far things I've done to check for problems include :
sfc /scannow - No errors
chkdsk /f - No errors

My computer is clean of any viruses or malware as I have malwarebytes and ESET NOD32 installed. Currently I CAN boot up from Safe Mode, which I am typing this from so I figured the problem lay with one of the core Windows files and/or services. My issues are that I need the laptop to function fully and that I do NOT have my recovery disk since I left it in Malaysia when I came to the UK.

Before I fork out a good 80 pounds (RM400?) to repair this, hopefully the trusty people on LYN can assist so I don't blow so much money

Edit : Problem solved so far. I did a clean boot, and slowly restarted services.

Is anyone familliar with any shops/stores around KL that sell vintage clothes. Like 60's vintage? I'd be grateful if someone could point me in the right direction.

The object of today's post is rather in tie with that. Imagine for a moment that you are looking at "?". Now what is that? Logic reasons that it is but a mere question mark. And correct it is!

But now, let me impose another question upon you. What is this -> "¿". To everyone, isn't it just an inversed question mark? Truly enough, it is. But why not let creativity wander? With the lack of effort put in by the country's administration, much less with the political circus that is going on right now I'd guess we're at a dead end here.

Remember the question mark again. Is it ever going to be just a question mark? Why not call it a challenge to the views and ideals of another? Perhaps we could see it as a need to find out answers and to explore the mysteries that exist around us.

So rare it is nowadays to find such people, that we are but a minority in the eyes of society. And what? No longer do we have the inquisitive generation of pioneers who took a shot at everything, poked their noses into everything and tried hands on before asking "How to?". Born now are people who ask first before trying, preferring to be spoonfed rather than to experience the adventure. People who want to know the climax before actually having any storyline/plot development happen. Sad isn't it?

I'll let you reflect upon it, and as to whether you fall under the category of the minority or the majority is really up to you.

I crafted this post on my blog a few months back, and having discussed this with my mother plenty a time ; I still really cannot grasp as to why this occurs. So my question to those present is simple.

To what extent have we lost our creativity as humans. And of what cause can this be put on? Advancement in technology seems to be a rather plausible cause here. As it seems, children these days are becoming more lazy and straightforward in context with studying and the like. Being only 19 myself, I still am able to see how skewered society has become, with everything being just a touch away.

So, hopefully this hasn't been discussed prior to my posting, and I hope some good knowledge can be garnered from this.

Not the newest of news, but with regards to the Ragnarok community, I'd like your opinion on this? I think its pretty disgusting that some random person working under a really big company would just blatantly rip off the artwork of freelance artists (even if the art-style is taken from Gravity). To get a better picture of the whole scenario, read the thread.

My question is this, if such a company (if that guy even does work for Gravity) can resort to theft of artwork, with such blatant disregard for the hard work the artist put in, where is it going to stop? How is the online gaming industry going to progress if everyone starts doing such things?

P.S > The news is not that new, but I haven't seen it around here and I can't get my mind of it, people like that dude make me sick!

Anyway, after searching a whole lot on the forums, I couldn't find much aside from the current iPhone 3G sellers, so I'd like to inquire if there are any iPhone 2G sellers still around in Lowyat, and also the price range currently? As I really don't trust 2nd hand dealers ;x I thought I'd inquire.
