DIY NRG Air Fuel Ratio gauge

Hello All,

I recently purchased a NRG AFR gauge and tried installing it myself. However, I do not know what is the problem I am facing so I wish those who have done it could assist me.

Here were the steps taken:

i. I connected the Red wire to the battery postive (+) terminal and black to the negative terminal (-), they were no sign of gauge being Powered ON.

ii. Tap the white wire to the O2 sensor white wire at the engine bay after the socket.

iii. Connect battery terminal and power up car, but the gauge does not power ON. No light and needle does not move!

Troubleshoot:

Gauge power on when I connect Black to Negative (-) terminal, red to positive (+) terminal, and White also to (+) terminal.

Thoughts:

Could it be a faulty gauge?

Could it be a faulty O2 sensor? Quite a new car (only 3 months old)

Should the gauge be powered on immediately after connecting to a power source (ie. battery terminal)

PLEASE HELP ME. Thanks.

Amd 9550 2.2ghz temperature

To all AMD 9550 users,

I would like to know what is the average temperature under idle and full load conditions. From the AMD site, I notice that the max. temp for this processor is 70c.

Currently, my CPU runs at 54c and core at 42c idle and can reach up to 68-69c under load for CPU temp while Core temp stands at 62+ under load. I am worried because I manage to see some people running the same proc at temperatures below 50c with stock HSF.

My question to all you kind souls is this,
1. Is it normal for this CPU model to run at such temperature? (If u notice AMD 9950 at AMD site, max temp is stated to be 61c whereas 9550 is 70c)

2. If yes, Should I consider changing the HSF to prevent damaging the CPU capacitor?

btw I am running :
AMD 9550 2.2GHz with stock HSF (no overclocking)
Asus M3A78 Mobo
ATI HD 4850
460W Cooler Master PSU

Thank you all....
