recently my oppo reno 6 pro have screen problem, i proceed to share my experience on one of the chinese oppo users group in fb (oppo 吹水站）

wanted to share my experience and find a cheaper and reliable way to fix the screen.

first time i tried to post, the admin rejected my post saying i should contact oppo care online chat first before posting. so i did, was advised to go oppo pavillion bukit jalil and so i went.

and duh, the technician check and found my phone in good condition but since my warranty is over, i have to fork out RM800 to repair the screen defect (expected reply since i already went to oppo ioi city mall before this, but hey i thought the admin of fb group know something i don't)

so tried to post in the group again. again, my motive was to share my crappy experience with the screen and to find somewhere to repair the phone. this time my post was approved… and removed within 1 hour. i tried editing and posting again and still, removed.

the group i think is by technave (with 64k members) , oh well, might as well rename to oppo ads group if members cant share anything bad about their oppo phone. i seen post about defective screen in the group from time to time, but most will get removed later.

my phone screen now, anyone can recommend trustworthy repair shop?

original story:

story like this:

1. unifi lauched promo for unifi advance 30mbps+hypptv ruby pack for rm179

2. i sign up for the plan.

3. received bill for unifi, cost me 189 (before GST) instead of the advertised 179.

5. proceed to call tm, (100), first call the operator convinced me that my package is rm189 (because ruby pack is rm40 instead of rm30).

6. felt cheated, contacted the agent that i applied with, he went on and provide me with prove (unifi's own website stated ruby pack+unifi advanced 30mbps is rm179).

7.call tm again, another operator, once again try to convince me mine should be rm189, ask him to open unifi website and read out what he saw, after that he kept quiet for few seconds then told me will file a report for my complaint.

8. after 1 week+, receive text message i get rebate, i called tm again just to confirm, then they told me now my bill should be rectified to rm179.

9. next month, received bill of rm167 , call them to give breakdown of my bill, they said they refunded the amount i overpaid the month before. so i thought sudah settle and happy.

10. unifi give free upgrade to 50mbps, i applied for it.

11. next month, the bill revert back to rm189 again!

12. call tm, said is system error when giving speed upgrade and will fix on next bill. proceed to file report too. around 1 week receive sms that my rebate of is approve here's the problem, the rebate should be same like last time, but why the rebate amount is different?

13. as expected, the next bill cost RM184, which doesn't really add up at all.

also, i want to bring awareness to all in case someone you know applied for this promo and got charged with RM189 like me. they will try to trick you into believing your bill should be RM189

hi, been having problem with my C510.

when i click the reply button> reply with message, the phone with load for a second or two before i can start writing. didnt have problem until recently.

and, the phone seems to reset itself (date, time etc) when i turn it off.

anyone know solution to my problem?
