Hi all (esp Penang lang),

I recently went to visit your state for a food trip over the weekend. It was many years since I last been there. The food was amazing but I was shocked to find that almost all the kopitiam now imposes a 50sen charge on customers who doesn't order drinks.

Do they have the right to do so ? I ended up ordering plain water but I find it unfair that the kopitiam "forces" you to spend on drinks.

Any thoughts?

im doin my form6 now, after my stpm i plan to do a marketing degree...
im nt from a vy well to do family, so the only few choices i hav is Utar and kdu...etc
what do u guys think of these coll?

Utar is given a uni status, is their quality better than kdu?
kdu seems to hav improved tremendously over the yrs..but it is a college...hmmm

which institution is better in ur opinion?

Im doing my form 6 now, sc stream
im pretty sure by now that sc is not my thing...i only hav a few more months to go
till my STPM (in Nov)

You see, I m thinking of doing a marketing degree in private colleges
but I m nt vy well to do (afterall im in f6 rite )
well, i plan 2 take up a loan right after i fin form 6 to do a Marketing degree in college.

What college do you guys suggest??
Im really lost and dint know which coll
i shud go for...
It shouldnt be too expensive and must have a DECENT std

im thinking of KDU, UTAR, Sunway or USCI...

well, when i read d newspaper, I always flip thru the classifieds...
no! nt becos im job hunting or anything...hahha ... im doing my form 6 now
and i jus randomly flip thru them to see what is the job requirements

after months of flipping thru these job ads, i noticed that most business related jobs
like marketing manager or sales executive only require a diploma

Most ads will write that candidates must possess a diploma/degree/masters or equivalent

the BIG ques is Why do we need a degree or masters when u can nail the same job with only a diploma?

well i really wonder....hmm... is it because having a degree or smthg higher will
give us a higher chance of being promoted?
or based on what i heard, promotion is based on ur job performance so
education level doesnt REALLY matter...???

what do U ppl think?
any thoughts are welcomed. I really hope that some1 would have an ans.

i tried it with shorts n jeans but it doesnt look quite right... hmm

hi guys, i am using bitcomet 1.14 and i noticed that listen port is blocked (yellow light)

under statistics, it says

I didnt expect to get it..
I m doing form 6 nw, buy uni & books d.
Should i opt for matrix or continue f6???
I really dont know,
Many issues to be taken into consideration
1. im chinese-THEY will discriminate me
2. quality of edu- what if i cant cope in uni?? foundation not strong enough in matrix.
