Guys, I had year 2012 modenas gt128, just recently renewed road tax. Planning to occasionally ride to reduce my transport cost.

It’s been dormant for quite sometime. Just recently when I tried to start, I found that the engine timing was damn high. Difficult to ride to workshop. I couldn’t find the screw that we could adjust the petrol. Anyone can show me where is that damn screw? Thanks

i have spare 1tb disk, 2yo i think. i formatted the disk. check with smart software no issue.

i use that 1tb to backup my file in my lappy.

after copy over almost 200gb of family picture for backup, then i realized the original size is 200gb, but the one that i copied over is almost double the size, around 380gb. no wonder it took almost 4 hours to complete. i did check the number of files, exactly the same. randomly check file by file, i couldn't find the differences

do u guys have any idea on why did the size suddenly surged liddat?

i need your opinion.. i am trying to subscribe to something over the internet. unfortunately, they only accept credit cards. they payment gateway located in hongkong. but the transaction are not being protected by ssl. im suspecting the services coming from the mainland china.. but i know the subscription is legit...

my question is, since i dont have cc, how can i make. a payment? is there any services to use someone else cc that i can pay using fund transfer or something?

Hi guys,

currently my home area, unifi port is full. therefore im using digi infinite150.

the problem is, whenever i am at home, i need to take out my sim and put in the modem (currently im using huawei e5577)..

huawei, i can lock to 4g band. this has to be done due to the poor signal of Digi that has the tendency of juggle from 3g to 4g consistently...

I lost my ability to make outgoing call esp when im during working/standby at home. i told my superior that pls call me using whatsapp call after office hours but whatsapp call is not stable...

therefore, i need suggestion, which phone should i get that can lock 4g band..

i dont mind if the phone has to be jailbroken/rooted...

but pls dont suggest flagship ones lah... no iphone xs, s10+, huawei p30+ please...

the phone battery shall be abused kow2... need an affordable phone...

im having hundreds of reports in the format of microsoft work .docx..

its in a table...

i need to copy and paste the item in the table into an .xlsx file one by one to create a tracking sheet...

is there any automation on microsoft office that i can leverage to help me to reduce my workload of copy and paste?

it sounds easy but its really tedious when u are having hundreds of pages for each report...

[WTA] Flywheel oil seal leak?

Hi all,

This morning i sent my 6 yo myvi to one of perodua service center. Normally i sent to perodua for a major service so that i could ensure the original parts.. After completed, i was told by the mechanic, he saw some leakage on the flywheel oil seal. He told me that should i decided to sent over the car for repairing, they need at least 2 days, and the cost would be around rm400-rm500 because they need to take down the gearbox unit.. Since i was on a hurry, i told him i will call him for more info.. So my questions to all sifus here:-

1. What is flywheel oil seal?
2. What could happen should i decided not to repair it?
3. How long it could last before it bece totally spoiled?
4. Is the price is right for such repair job?

i am planning to let go of my year 2007 silver myvi ezi.

the challenges, the car is under hire-purchase agreement with my company(approximately rm600 per month). I still have 12 month to complete the hire purchase.

my questions are:-

1. no banks would want to re-hire purchase a car that are still under agreement with a company. i need a buyer that are willing to fork out rm7200 (600x12month) as a "downpayment" for me to do early settlement with my company. am i correct?

2. should i able to fork out rm7200 to release the hire purchase, what are the steps for me to sell of the car?

3. i pull out the ncd for the myvi last year for my new car. recently i just renewed the insurance and road tax with rm18k insured. what should i do with the insurance? the buyer, should he buy a new insurance?

4. what is the value for 2007 myvi ezi, 165k mileage, mint condition of paint, accident free, 15inch of alloy sport rim, good engine condition, and good interior?!

5. what are the hidden cost incurred in selling off a car, and who should bear the cost?

O-ring / O-filler for sport rim

hi guys,

last year i changed a sport rim on my myvi. the shop ask me whether i wanted to put the O-ring or O-filler to make the rim more sturdy at high speed.. i thot it would be good. so i paid rm40 per piece. it has been a year, no problem at all.. its just that, last week i went to a tyre shop to do alignment and balancing, because the steering wheel started to vibrate whenever i go for 110km/j. i was told by the shop that the O-ring is not filling the O gap.. thats resulting the O-ring to moving whenever i speed the car. thus resulting the vibrating steering wheel. he ask me to go for a custom made O-ring, to ensure the O-ring fill the gap nicely..

my question

1. is it possible for the O section of the rim loosen over time?
2. any other solution for this other than custom O-ring?
3. where can i get a custom O-ring?

guys,

i had a hard time on using the fuelly.
1. need to wait a bit to make the apps goes online
2. most of the time, i didnt pour a full tank.
3. really troublesome to remind myself, to park to a roadside after refuelling just to record down the transaction.

so i tried Road Trip. better because its actually not an online system. standalone on my iphone. but the number 2 and number 3 still a problem for me..

then i was wondering how do u guys keep on recording all transaction? pls share.. thanks..

Hi,

i brother just rent a new house. it was 6yo built, still good looking. looking inside, i could see a few looping of wiring, most probably done by the previous tenant. last nite, i was helping my brother to get the curtain rail on the wall, when i started to drill using my black n decker hammer drill, all the lights, tvs, starts to blinking esp when i press the drill to the max. at some point, all electricity cut off!! dafuq man.. thats scary.. on positive note, its only happen on that power socket only.. other power socket, i plug in the drill, or the vacuum cleaner, all no issue..

i could see a trace of wiring of a ceiling fan was done earlier. most probably the previous tenant disassemble the celing fan (dafuq, ceiling fan also wants to take ka? just claim the phcuking fan from the owner lah.. apa cheapskate ini?) could that be the cause? is it dangerous? how to mitigate this problem? thanks..
