Hi All,

May i ask as per above topic. Where can i find a shop or merchant where i can buy an IPad Air + Pencil ( for my study) in installement up to 24 or 36 months? I am using Maybank CC.

Most of the shops are offering up to 12 months. I just want to make it longer.

Another thing, before someone whack or scold me etc; i can buy the ipad cash, but with the money i plan on doing something else, so as long as i can buy with 0% interest, i am good.

The back cover for both phone got some minor crack. 1 of the phone (ZE551ML) , when you disconnect the cable during charging, sometime it turn off itself, what you need to do, just turn ON again the phone and that's it. Recently i talked to my friend. He is having saving account in HSBC and he told me that he is able to use his HSBC card to withdraw money from any ATM regardless of bank FOC. No need to pay rm1.06 on top of withdrawal amount.

However for any transfer like Instant Transfer or IBG it will be charged accordingly.

In my case, i have standard chartered account and whenever i do Instant Transfer to any bank it will be FOC.

So i am looking for a bank where can offer both facilites FOC. Do we have that kind in MY?

Tldr:

Hsbc - withdraw from any ATM foc

Stan chart - IBG and instant transfer FOC.

Where to send my laptop to check problem

Hi Guys,

Firstly, i am not sure if i am posting in the right places. If my posting is wrong, admin please kindly help to move to a right location.

Secondly, my laptop having a problem, i am using ASUS X4H, older laptop, about 3 years already, the 3 years warranty also already expired. Now, the problem is i can't turn the laptop ON. the Charger Adapter is fine, i can see the LED light and tried to other laptop using the same adapter and its working.

I suspect maybe the adapter port in the laptop is not working. However, before i am sending my laptop to the shop, planning to go in lowyat, i want to ask your opinion which laptop shop that can be consider honest, affordable and also transparent in checking, replacing items for laptop.

I dont want to to go shop that will may cause headache to me, cheat me or cause me problem later on.

If possible, i want to go to the shop where they will check and identify the problem for free, and if the item that needs to be replace is affordable ( i don't mean cheap as i know the laptop part is not that cheap), i willing to replace in that shop, or if the item is too expensive which i can buy another cheap laptop, i can take my laptop back with a very minimal fees or for free after they told me the exact problem with my laptop.

hope anyone can provide me suggestion to where should i send my laptop, regardless in lowyat or no. It does'nt matter as long as the shop is honest.

I want to learn chinese language

Hi guys,

Just want to ask, i am interested in learning chinese language, especially used by Malaysia chinese. But i'm not sure what kind of chinese language they used, or slang. No idea about it, i learnt Mandarin during my university study and its sound very differently with the one i heard with normal chinese speaking.

Can anyone help to point out what kind of language/slang like hokkien, cantonis, etc.. sorry i'm not sure, if i'm wrong, do correct me please. and any class with affordable fees that i can enroll in.

p/s: my workplace is 90% of chinese, so need to know what they talk if they kutuk2 me or not..lol.. just kidding, my chinese colleague are very understanding one, respect all of them! and i'm a Malay so like to impressed with them my chinese speaking later if i good at it lah

Polishing the broken marble floor

I am in the middle of renovation for my apartment in Putra Perdana, Puchong. And i am thinking to polish my marble floor to change from dull look to shining looks. I tried asking some of the contractor near to my home, but not available, i tried googled, but could not find it.

Hence, i am asking here if you know anyone who can do the polishing works for my broken marble floor, the broken marble is only in the living hall. I dont have the exact budget, but i'm thinking maybe around RM 300-400 for this work, not confirm, but can be discuss.

Setting up internet connection using broadband

Hi All,

I need to setup internet connection using 3G Broadband modem. What i have is 1 server with 2 NIC Card, 1 unit of 8 port switches, and 3 laptops.

It is possible for me to setup internet connection from server and make the server as a router so that 3 laptops can access to the internet by plugged the LAN cable from the switches, which the server also connected to the switches too.

If possible, how can i do it and is there any manual/tutorial that you can share to me?

My Bluetooth device unable to functions

Hi all,

Firstly, i am not sure if i'm in the right place to post about my bluetooth device problem. If possible, just move it to the right place ok.

Ok, straight to the point.

My BT device, I-Tech Clip ME 304 did not work since from yesterday. I can paired with my E71 perfectly, the problem is when i try to call and talk, i couldn't hear voice from the BT. But i can speak using the BT and the other person can hear it. So, i believe that my earphone in the BT got problem. I want to send it for warranty, where can i send it to fix the problem? The warranty is still valid so, i dont want to buy new BT, instead send it for repair.

Hopefully, anybody can lead me to the right place. Thanks.

Problem details
First occurence of problem:

My wireless connection will automatically disconnected every odd hours, normally around 30 to 45 minuts after surfing.

Problem frequency:

Every 30-45 minutes when surfing

Problem description:

I have problem when i have changed to the new wireless modem that provided by TM Point. Previously i use Billion Bipac wired modem to connect to internet and it won't give me any problem.

The problem occurred every 30-45 minutes accessing internet. I need to reboot the modem to regain connectivity to the internet. I have called 100 and even bring the wireless modem to TM Point to change with new one.

TM Point guy gave me a another wireless modem with the same model. Fortunately, he did not ask for returning my current wireless modem. So, end up, i bring two same wireless modem at home.

But, unfortunately the similar problem still occurred. The connection will automatically disconnect about 30-45 minutes using it.

So, i would want to know, did any of you who having the same modem got the same problem too? If you do, beside buying another wireless router /modem, what setting have you done to ensure the problem fade away?

If anybody know any trick or setting, please do let me know as i quite fed up with auto disconnected using wireless.

I would like to ask all of you, is it permitted by tm point for user like me to change the modem from wired to wireless without upgrading any package? Since i am now using Streamy Combo 1MB package, can they allow me to do that? I dont want to buy another wireless modem if i can get it for free. I have asked the 100 line, and they told me it possible.

But i still doubt with the confirmation. So, that is why i would like to know if someone have changed it to wireless modem. Performance and stability put it aside, just want to know if possible to exchange with other modem. My current modem is working as normal.
